That Rubbish Midfield We Have From Leeds

Recommended Posts

Well that''s what they were saying on WACCOE.

Johnson, Howson and Snodgrass average Championship players.

Sour Grapes?

All 3 were magnificent today, so how''s it all going at Bellend Road, think you''ll make the play-offs?

Agree! Last week at Fulham they were falling over each other, but today seemed to have established their own operating areas and regained their understanding and appeared as a very solid midfield trio, unfortunately Pilks didn''t seem on their wavelength for much of the time.

Well Leeds didn''t make the play-offs with these players either. If rumours are to be believed and we sign another midfielder to play alongside Tettey and Butterfield returns, then it is highly likely that all of our midfielders from Leeds will have a fight on their hands to stay in the first team.  Good players but not world beaters.

Does this mean that our midfield are basically Champions, Champions of Europe?Leeds logic makes everything so much more grandiose.

Snoddy and Johnson were superb. Snoddgrass hasn''t got pace but is very good with the ball at his feet. Very technical and tricky and not afraid to drive into the box instead of just whipping a crosses in.

Yep, that was a crunching tackle with real purpose wasn’t it?

As a future game plan perhaps all CH needs to do is set Snoddy the task of tackling every opposition player at least once (in a similar no-nonsense manner) during the first 20 minutes just to keep them quiet! Providing the majority of individuals also fail to recover mentally, Norwich should go at least two goals up in most games!...
