AJ 1,377 Posted April 9, 2012 Shame Grant Holt didn''t score, then Lambert could have said "how about that, England?" in his interview. They''d have had to talk about that [:P]

lake district canary 0 Posted April 9, 2012 Hopefully, they will recognise what a great team performance that was and give credit for us showing one of the stuttering ''big'' clubs what football should be about. Teamwork, hard work - not forgetting skill - we have plenty of that too. Probably, though, they will say Spurs were unlucky........................

Rudolph Hucker 0 Posted April 9, 2012 They''ll show Everton and their four goals against Sunderland and Newcastlemwhile peeing themselves over Ben Arfa''s long run and goal.

thenorthstand 0 Posted April 9, 2012 Deserve to be first but to be fair Gary has no say at all in what order they play the matches :/
Aggy 944 Posted April 9, 2012
Deserve to be first but to be fair Gary has no say at all in what order they play the matches :/
Indeed. And I reckon what he''ll probably say about the performance will be similar to what both he and Lawrenson said on Saturday, and numerous times throughout the season, that this performance epitomises what we''ve been doing throughout a fantastic season. It really is staggering how much some of you have your yellow and green tinted specs on over MOTD - they do quite consistently say how good we''ve been this season! Gingerpele 0 Posted April 9, 2012 I think some people are a bit harsh on MOTD, and especially Linekar, for a start its not his job to give opinions. He doesn''t run the show, he just presents it, he''s a monkey essentially, does what he''s told.He said on twitter earlier (in response to a Norwich fan) he''s watched previous eps and seen praise for Norwich, and I agree MOTD only ever praise us. But they don''t give us that much air time, and I have seen very little (detailed) analysis on our play and players, Everton last weekend, they showed how fantastic Pienaar was, have they ever done that for Holt? Or Fox? Or Hoolahan? I can''t remember them picking on one of our players and showing a number of examples of their great play. Thats all they need to do to get Norwich fans of their backs. And also, Lawro should apologise, or at least give a reason for his pathetic response to the Holt question on Saturday.
