sonyc 6,145 Posted September 25, 2011 Anyone else think that Grant Holt will return tomorrow? Otherwise same team?
Captain Holt 580 Posted September 25, 2011 I hope so, it won''t seem right without Holty leading the line at FCR.
Nexus_Canary 1,206 Posted September 25, 2011 Holt is our #1 striking option so would be surprised if he was not in the starting XI
ryan1992 0 Posted September 25, 2011 You mean like when he wasnt in our starting 11 last week Nexus?
Mr. Bump 0 Posted September 25, 2011 If we play the same formation as Bolton, am I the only one who wants Vaughan to start?
Nexus_Canary 1,206 Posted September 25, 2011
You mean like when he wasnt in our starting 11 last week Nexus?
Your point ?Morrison has not done very much to impress me if I am honest. He has missed 2 / 3 real sitters and this needs to be sorted out. Although I admit watching a match on TV does not give a true verdict on his over all impact on the game. Still, would have prefered Holt vs Bolton. But then I think Lambert wants to come across as the unpredictable manager this year so will play a guessing game. Who knows what hes going to go with ! curly_whirly_tipz 0 Posted September 25, 2011 I hope Holty starts. Would be great for him to get his 1st home PL goal. I think he might also thrive as he has been dropped as has more to prove - and knowing Holt will deliver the goods. OTBC
grantroederdisaster 0 Posted September 25, 2011 Why change a winning line up? As good as what Holty is, he hasn''t the pace to play upfront on his own, we need wingers and we have to play our best 11 and that includes Hoolahan so playing with a lone striker is our only option! Anyway I thought Holt was an impressive impact sub last week, it seems he benefited from coming on when the opposition were tiring!

Mister Chops 7 Posted September 25, 2011
If we play the same formation as Bolton, am I the only one who wants Vaughan to start?
If we play one up top then their primary role will be to hold the ball up and allow the midfield to break forward. I can''t see Vaughan being the man to hold the ball up with his back to goal.If we play the same formation as Bolton, I''ll be disappointed as I never believe in starting with one up top at home against mid-table opposition. ZLF 335 Posted September 25, 2011 Morison led the line well last week so its hard to see why he would be dropped. If we start with 2 strikers then i expect holt to start alongside morison; but can see vaughan starting up front with morison too.
Mahogany 0 Posted September 25, 2011 Vaughan for me too. He should be back to full fitness by now and we need to see what he can do.I''d also drop Barnett for De Laet.
Europe_93 50 Posted September 25, 2011 I think Morison will be our main striker over the season rather than Holt, but does not necessarily mean he will start ahead of him tomorrow. While I thought Morison did ok last week, my opinion differs to most on Holt, whilst he did a job, I thought he showed a fair bit of uncertainty at times, whereas Vaughan looked pacy, direct and hungry for a starting place. I could see him playing Wes wide on the left and going with Vaughan & Morison up top (4-4-2) but its anyone''s guess,

Probaly true about Vaughen but our one man upfront formation wasn''t your normal negative one man upfront formation when we had two wingers and Wes Hoolahan in the team! Like I said earlier, why change a winning team, Bolton was the best we''ve played by a mile and we can always revert to 2 strikers later on if it isn''t working!
