But then that wouldn''t have resulted in as many people noticing your unnecessarily hermetic, pseudo-cryptic babblings, would it?I am, of course, a virgin, with very little concept of the difference between gender, but I hardly see how that''s relevant. BlyBlyBabes 0 Posted February 2, 2011
"But of course this is different, right?" yes, the other thread was for City fans
There''s a difference between a fan and a fanatic. I''m a veteran City fan of 53 years. Simple. Now a fanatic like you might be better off in politics than supporting my club. Not quite sure in which end of the spectrum you''d best fit though. BlyBlyBabes 0 Posted February 2, 2011
Then you''ll remember where, and who, used to sell match programmes in Kings Street in the early 70''s
Sorry, I always approached the ground in those days from the Thorpe end via Riverside Road or Clarence Road. But I remember Stan Springall''s old Supporters Association had an office on King St. at that time, I think. Still have the lapel badge. So you see you mustn''t believe all you read on this forum - particularly from the inner circle types who will make up things and shade the truth when they are caught short or found wanting! Lambo 0 Posted February 3, 2011 I''ve no gripe with Aaron Wilbraham, not an outstanding player but he''s a signing I understand. He was brought in for games like last night where we''re chasing and need to go more direct, aswell as providing a physical presence for when Holt is unavailable. Last night he played his part in our winner and has played a part in 2 other big goals since joining.

Salopian 1 Posted February 3, 2011 I don''t think that he will score many goals for us, but I do think that as a substitute for an injured or suspended Holt he could be a chance supplier around the penalty area.He has some nice touches to other players, some intentional some unintentional. The main problem is that we have Hooly, Surman, Lansbury Martin C and ohers to provide these little chances and nobody to score from them! It''s early days, and perhaps soon he and others will come to appreciate each other''s methods.
