I am a Banana 0 Posted February 25, 2010 Pinkun top story, to try and stop the football league getting involved! Will Col U ever accept because we will most likely get docked points and then drop below col u, so would they rather not accept anything and just hope for the football league to dock us points? a1canary 0 Posted February 25, 2010
Pretty short meeting:Robbie: Gimme a millionSuper Dave: Stitch that wide boy. Come on Delia lets go down Subway.
Lol!!I think the situation is like this:The sticking point is over the "agreeing compensation before appointing" issue. Cowling requested that, and the rules say he is entitled to do that. But the rules are not clear on the means of doing this. Presumably, our line is that no legal agreement was made about agreeing compensation, so we probably just went on and appointed PL anyway. Which is, what might be referred to in legal circles as "sharp practice" and is sure to have been what has wound up Mr Cowface.A tribunal would have to decide if we are in breach of the rules by breaking our word, or at least letting the believe that we would talk to PL and only appoint pending agreement of compo, as requested. In court, this would not stand up for a second and all the fault would lie with Cowflaps for not legally enforcing the requirement to agree compo. A football league tribunal might see it a bit differently though.

McCanary 0 Posted February 25, 2010 "Both clubs refused to comment on the outcome of the latest meeting with City reiterating the matter is in the hands of their legal representatives." Bet Cowling found that a bit tricky to stick to!! How long til he opens his gob again??
25overpar 0 Posted February 26, 2010 Perhaps we are talking because our financial circumstances are about to change for the better and we are trying to tempt the money grabbing little creep with an amount that we think preferable to the possible result of a tribunal?
