USA Canary 7 Posted December 23, 2004 How many points do you think we will pick up over the Holiday Period? We have four matches against...Spurs (H)M''Boro (A)Pompey (A)Liverpool (H)I know it sounds pessimistic, but I can only see us getting one point (a draw against Spurs)...I realy can''t see us getting anything from the other three matches...I hope I''m proved wrong. My son thinks we''ll get 2 points (draw against Spurs and Boro)...I hope he''s wrong as well. NavMan 0 Posted December 23, 2004 Gave up trying to guess points and scores ages ago in what is a very unpredictive sport. Boring I know but dont like to tempt fate.

Robert Fleck is still GOD! 0 Posted December 23, 2004 Spurs 1Boro 0Pompey 1Liverpool 3 We owe them for not turning up when we played away plus that attrocious tackle form Hammann on Damo!I will go with five but I have a feeling and its not too much Xmas cheer that we may get two wins over Xmas! Bird Table 0 Posted December 23, 2004 The best chance for points might actually be against Liverpool. They''ve been dodgy away all season and Everton managed to batter them into submission with their physical approach.
Ken Aries 0 Posted December 23, 2004 my glass is brimful and overflowing (anybody else bored with the hideous cliche, glass half full/empty yet ?) in fact all 6 of them were, so i''ll merrily plump for 12 points. did i mean 12 pints ?
Essexiled Canary 0 Posted December 23, 2004 I think that the level of points we are likely to obtain depends on one key factor- whether we see the gutsy determined and quality side, that we all know they are capable of being, or whether a few players turn in nothing performances, and make critical errors!!!!If we play to our capabilities I think:Spurs- WinBoro- DrawPompey- WinLiverpool- DrawWe can do it, I know it!!!! Saint Canary 0 Posted December 23, 2004 With such low expectations I will expect to see no complaints about players, manager etc during the next couple of weeks. LOL I would think we will get 4 points.

USA Canary 7 Posted December 23, 2004 Hopefully, the players won''t have Holiday hangovers...like we have most years (except last year)...let''s hope we have a similar Christmas period as last year...wishful thinking I suppose
Colonel Cullum 0 Posted December 24, 2004 I expect 2 very hard earned points versus Spurs and Liverpool and nothing versus pompey and boro.In fact against boro, I fear the most comprehensive defeat of the season PLEASE PROVE ME WRONG BOYS!!!!!
USA Canary 7 Posted December 27, 2004 Well, zero points from the first match...however, as other results went our way, we are still out of the bottom three...
