Erik the Viking 0 Posted December 29, 2008 I find it amazing that most media/messageboards mention the "Roeder out" chants from the game yest but the "we want Delia out" chants don''t even get a mention?!?!

What do you mean "expectations are too high"???? Currently I''d be happy to accept mid-table mediocrity rather than the current rubbish. Are my expectations too high? I''d like us to actually own our squad rather than paying out wasted money on loans. Are my expectations too high? I''d like us to have just a bit of consistency on the pitch rather than the current "win one, lose the next 2". Are my expectations too high? I''d actually like us to be in a position to challenge for promotion. Do you really think my expectations are too high? I''d like a bit of leadership and direction from the Board. Are my expectations too high? We have crowds that are the envy of most in this division and yet we are still best part of £20 million in debt. This can''t go on and change must happen. How you expect supporters to just sit there and happily "cheer on the boys" when they are playing appallingly and losing at home (yet again) to one of the worst teams in the league is beyond me. In fact I think the crowd have been remarkably patient so far. No, I really think it''s time that people really started to voice their displeasure at the way our club is going down the pan. Erik the Viking 0 Posted December 29, 2008
Delia has done far more than you or I ever will for this football club, for goodness sake give her a break.
So Worthy, why has she such a super supporter compare to the rest of us?!?! She has had a break for quite a few seasons now and keeps making mistakes so why should we give her a break?, with that stance perhaps you should be giving Roeder a break! Arthur Whittle 0 Posted December 29, 2008
Delia has done far more than you or I ever will for this football club, for goodness sake give her a break.
Yeah and look where that has got us. Why should we give her a break because she tried and out of sentiment? My old boss would''ve given me the boot had i only ''tried''. They are out of depth and the Club is bigger than a celebrity chef. Its our club and her input has taken us back, not forward so its a case of thanks Delia shut the door on the way out love. AndyJR 0 Posted December 29, 2008 The only way Delia can/will go is when an investor comes in and I''m not talking about Mr Cullum, he will only invest once the club is demoted - it''s called business I suppose.

Time moves on or perhaps we should have Maggie Thatcher back in the country for the one good thing she perhaps did?!Seem to remember that Carl Moore again made promotion a reality also by funding the best player in the leagues salary that season plus far too many others to mention.... AndyJR 0 Posted December 29, 2008 Yes time moves on, as does the financial market. Nobody wants to buy us and unless that happens, surely it''s better to take what Delia and MW can afford to give as opposed to the other option. A little of something is better than nothing. Blofield Canary 11 Posted December 29, 2008 Hardly surprising the "chant" wasn''t mentioned anywhere. Unless you were sat in the middle of the 5 or 6 kids shouting I doubt you would have heard it.

Blofield Canary 11 Posted December 29, 2008 Not really. From where the reporters sit or Radio Norfolk presenters are there is no way they would have heard the Delia chant. To be quite honest it sounded like half a dozen school kids at an England schoolboy game. The Roeder chant was probably one of the loudest songs all afternoon and was certainly being sung in the Barclay Upper and Lower, the Snakepit and the Jarrold stands. There were people around me in the Upper joining in who i havn''t seen sing anything since we won promotion.

astrodyne 0 Posted December 29, 2008
Let''s not forget - she made this possible.... Blofield Canary 11 Posted December 29, 2008 The signing of Huckerby was down to one director who gave up his family Christmas to persuade both Darren to sign and Mr Moore to help finance the deal. The only part played by Delia was escorting him onto the pitch before the Forest game.Unfortunately the gentleman is no longer a director. Blofield Canary 11 Posted December 29, 2008 You have hit the nail right on the head Chrisr. Those who tried to start the chant would do well to muster a couple of quid of pocket money between them so you could hardly expect them to understand the financial detail of share trading.
Blofield Canary 11 Posted December 29, 2008 The club could start by doing away with the concessionary prices in the Barclay. That would be a bit more money from these particually offensive people towards moving the club forwards.
