Deliah Promised She Would Give The Fans A Chance To Vote!!!!

Recommended Posts

At the risk of ----ing other posters off I have titled the post the way I have to get as many fellow supporters to listen to the interview Delia gave to the BBC earlier this year. She`states that she would give the fans a chance to vote on any contentious offer made by any potential investor. I am not anti Delia but if ever Archant wanted a great time to request Delia and `Co to put the record straight this is it. I know that I have repeated an earlier post but one of the contributors has commented that he thought the responses were low given what Delia said in the interview. The Link Is:

We do not have a squad to compete so come on Delia & Co give Glen the money or find a way of allowing someone else to.

Does anyone else find this situation tragic, breaking my heart seeing the club I love sinking lower and lower, god however must GR and the players feel.  I hope he is managing to shield them a little.

One thing I have said from the start is that if protests happen the players should be made aware that it isn''t towards them or GR.

I think we should be allowed to choose whether the protests are towards the players too. Why should Doherty get away with it. It''s the full 3D''s or nothing!

Yep spot on she does say if someone came in with £20m to put into the playing side not just in to the day to day running of the football club we fans would never forgive her. However PC was offering £20m for players in exchange for overall control -  not just splitting hairs but totally different - In other words don''t come in with £20m to buy the club and that includes your player budget . She has said all along that if someone comes in with enough money to buy them out and still have sufficient left over to invest in the squad she is ready to listen, there is no point in her selling out to someone who cannot take us further - a point I think she knows they have reached themselves with the way football has become.

With regard to the debt hasn''t it been said numerous times that it is Axa asking for the debt to be repaid, not the board assuming it will have to.

It depends on how you interperate the interview, I am not being a board lover , more a fence sitter at the moment who feels yet again some of you are going off half cocked again. Only my opinion.

Listen all points of view are valid and all are entitled to one especially those that pay their hard earned cash to travel and support our club and our team. I accept that Delia and the board have to follow the correct procedures if anyone is to join the board or buy the club. Perhaps Delia should have been a little more considered in her comments on the radio and at the Royal Norfolk Show. Whoever you blame for this discontent it cannot be the fans. Delia made those`statements.

I really do not know what is worse the abject PR from the club, the concern over signings or the humiliation when other supporters view our club which has now become even more the subject of jokes from other clubs fans, stick together I hear you say, stand by the club I hear you say, support the team I hear you say and of course the majority will do exactly that, but just how much longer will the solid core of 24,000 fans do so given today''s economy many may find other entertaiment to avoid the disappointment that goes with supporting NFC at this moment in time and if that happens many younger fans may be inclined to wear the shirt of Man U, Liverpool or Chelsea although they will raerly get to see those teams live. Over the past ten years`we have seen that younger fans have been watching NFC a so called unfasionable club. We need the next generation of fans to care and they wont want to be associated with a club which is the butt of all jokes.

Maybe this whole thing was an accident waiting to happen fulled by Archant and Mr Cullum but unfortunately Delia and the board have become a liability and the manager, the team and the fans are the ones suffering.

[/quote]PM Brown promised everyone a vote on the EU constitution. I see we have signed it - although Brown snubbed the official signing and crept through the back door later in the afternoon to sign it.So what now the national referendum? What now a vote on what NCFC do?Always empty words.

So are you defending Delia or are you supporting the fact that she offered a vote?

No need for a vote its only some fans who think this is ''contentious''. The two sides involved issued a joint statement that they couldn''t reach an agreement. The right man came along but unfortunately he didn''t have the right deal.
