Bicester Canary 0 Posted July 3, 2008 Lol, I was merely in conversation with him and he asked what I thoughof the Cullum propoed takeover and when I brought up Doomcaster he just said f**k off, not against me, but against Doomy! He was a really nice bloke, I think he still plays for Wycombe Wanderers.

Cottaging Canary 0 Posted July 3, 2008 He only left Wycombe at the end of the season. Is there still a Blooms of Bressingham in Bicester?
Bicester Canary 0 Posted July 3, 2008 No there isn''t a bloom, but we have got the delightful Bicester village (ho ho) and a Wyevale garden centre!
Inch High aka Inchy.. 405 Posted July 3, 2008 Think you''ll find Wyevale bought Blooms out.
Bicester Canary 0 Posted July 3, 2008 Ah right I didn''t know that. lol. Gary Holt though legend I would put him in the same category as Daryl Sutch!

DDD In The Fine City 1 Posted July 3, 2008 I used to live in Bicester as a kid and used to play football for Loungton(spe) and lived in Lyhnem road near the old Mac''s store and Glory farm school. do you know it?
SuperWesIrishWizard 0 Posted July 3, 2008
Ah right I didn''t know that. lol. Gary Holt though legend I would put him in the same category as Daryl Sutch!
I would put Holt much higher than Sutchy purely on the basis that he was actually good for a year or two unlike Sutchy, because he didnt miss an open goal against inter milan at the san siro, actually won something with the club, and because holt isnt a dirty binner. Bicester Canary 0 Posted July 3, 2008 Yeah I know Glory Farm School, I live in Langford Village which is one of the new estates, I imagine its changed a lot since you lived here. I''ve only lived in Bicester for a couple of years as I grew up in Thame.
Bicester Canary 0 Posted July 3, 2008 You can''t knock Sutch! Holt is a legend, but heres a man who spent 15 or so years at the same club, was loyal to Norwich and then went off and formed a company that was going to rival e-bay! legend! Shame Sutch''s last kick was missing a penalty against Birmingham in the playoff final!
DDD In The Fine City 1 Posted July 3, 2008 bout 20 year since i lived there, can always remember goin over the army base looking for bullets in the target range and steeling stuff from mac''s, used to be a rite little bastard me!
Bicester Canary 0 Posted July 3, 2008 Lol, the Army base is still there, but they have downscaled it a lot and there was talk of turning it into an asylum seekers centre. Ambrosden and Arncott are basically non-army villages nowadays.
