Houston Canary 0 Posted July 1, 2008 I think he is hoping to play in the MLS, possibly in San Jose. Not too far from the movie business where he hopes to star as the wacky side kick in a live action version of Shrek. Just keep sending an apple a day to Carrow Road and "the Doc" should stay away. norfolkbroadslim 225 Posted July 1, 2008
Well his contract ends today, doesn''t it?
It ended at midnight, so unless he is going to be announced as a ''new'' signing by the board today, he has gone.CR spin headlines - "Canaries sign ex-Spurs defender", then you realise its Doherty they are talking about. alex_ncfc 686 Posted July 1, 2008 Correct, Doherty is now officially out of contract as of midnight last night and as such, could turn up at any club he wishes today to join them for pre-season training!
Tetteys Jig 851 Posted July 1, 2008 He might be on a rolling contract until the club or him decides to call it a day

Pi$$ed As A Mattress 0 Posted July 1, 2008 I have just been to Colney, they have security on the gate stopping people going in (which is fair enough on the first day back). However, I did ask him if he had seen Doc today and at 9.45 this morning he gave me a resounding......NO.
