It''s pathetic commercialism from media companies who expect that someone who happens to have internet radio should pay, when someone with conventional radio gets to listen for free. Particularly galling for us exiled fans who can''t even get Radio Norfolk...

london Canary 0 Posted March 3, 2007 yea i live in london so can''t get radio norfolk, why should i have to pay to listen to the game!
jetstream 0 Posted March 3, 2007 I agree it isn''t an ideal situaton but at the moment that''s how it is, so if you want to listen you have to pay - the same happens on the BBC all over (5Live etc)The Club''s argument is that it helps earn them much-needed revenue and it''s only £35pa to subscribe - not exactly breaking the bank (though I understand the argument that BBC Radio is ''free''...)Alex - in this day and age I find it hard to believe there isn''t a radio in your entire house - only on your phone? Then charge your phone up! Christ, it ain''t rocket science! You can buy an FM radio for about £1!Oh btw, we''re playing well and we''re 2-0 up.
Alex Harvey-Jones 0 Posted March 3, 2007
Why not pay for CanariesWorld like everyone else?
It''s free on the radio - I can''t get radio Norfolk in Northampton but why does that mean I should have to pay to listen to something that those in Norfolk get to listen to for free!? Darlo dumplin’ 0 Posted March 3, 2007 for some reason I seem unable to get commentry on CWorld today, tried some other games, and can get a few - is that just my settings or is there a general problem with it again?

Jules 0 Posted March 3, 2007 I subscribe to Canaries World and I''m trying to listen to the game with the live commentary links but I keep getting blocked with something about DRM access?!! I enter my CanariesWorld username and password and nothing happens. What gives? Can anyone help? At last, Norwich are winning away but I can''t listen! jetstream 0 Posted March 3, 2007 if you have paid Canaries World but the link form official page wont work use thishttp://mfile.akamai.com/6095/live/reflector:21683.asx?bkup=23506It checks if you are registered, if you are it links automatically, if you''re not then it won''t help(from Ankles)
Ankles50 0 Posted March 3, 2007 http://mfile.akamai.com/6095/live/reflector:21683.asx?bkup=23506 Jules i had same issue, used teh above link & it knows i''m a paid up canaries world member (it checks somehow & then confirms you can hit OK) so connects automatically Won''t work for non subscribers though

jetstream 0 Posted March 3, 2007 Jules - other people are suggesting you quit Internet Explorer, restart your computer and try to login again - working for others...
Alan_Grey 0 Posted March 3, 2007 After some fiddling, it seems it really does only work from internet explorer 7... wish there was an audio replay, I want to hear that first half :(
Web Team - Vince 0 Posted March 3, 2007
if you have paid Canaries World but the link form official page wont work use thishttp://mfile.akamai.com/6095/live/reflector:21683.asx?bkup=23506It checks if you are registered, if you are it links automatically, if you''re not then it won''t help(from Ankles)
Yes, it does try to acquire a licence from Premium TV if you haven''t got one (but doesn''t take you anywhere you can buy one - you would have to do this via CanariesWorld).Akamai are in the business of streaming media, so my guess is they are used by Premium TV.It didn''t ask me for a password at these stages, just checked for a licence. I would avoid any sites that asked for your CanariesWorld password.
Jules 0 Posted March 3, 2007 Cheers for the link guys! Now working! Don''t know whether it''s an issue with Vista, but I recently upgraded to that.
Ankles50 0 Posted March 3, 2007 Let''s be honest it''ll take until tuesday before a bunch of working links are in circulation PTV/Canaries world need to raise the offering beyond commentary to attract subscribers, soon as i am back from Thiland full time i won''t be renewing my subscription
Jules 0 Posted March 3, 2007 Well it was nice to listen to the second half, but they cut off before the CanaryTalk phone in. They always used to have this. Frustrating.
