Town boss Jim Magilton has disciplined five players after they took a two-day trip to Amsterdam last week.

First team regulars Alan Lee and Gary Roberts have been warned about their conduct, while the Town futures of Scott Barron, Darryl Knights and Chris Casement could now be in question.

Guess footballers keep their brains in their trousers!

All  Ipswich players are by definition "in trouble"They all play for a crap team in a rubbish town in Suffolk. If that isn''t in trouble then I don''t know what is!

cityangel, I really do feel you are being hard on footballers. I think almost all men at least have a remote control link between their brains and their trousers.

I think that''s an unfair generalisation about footballers.  Lots of footballers (Like Huckerby and Eadie) are happily married responsible fathers.

Imho the behaviour of the Ipswich players is no better or worse than the behaviour of the WAGs during the World Cup in Germany.

I''ve heard that three have been sacked. Strangely not the leading scorer and the new £200,000 signing - just the three unknowns of little value to the club. Lee and Roberts must have been led astray by the younger, less senior members of the squad then.

Ipswich have just signed David Wright from Wigan and are being linked with Steve Kabba from Sheffiel Utd , for a team £40million in debt their spending and ambition puts us to shame . Magilton has built a tidy little side there and i dont see Peter Grants rabble beating them again anytime soon .

They havent been sacked, 2 of the 3 kids played for the reserves last night and the other one is negotiating a deal to move to Falkirk which has been going on for a couple of weeks.

My mates an Ipswich fan!

Sadly true NCFC1.

Anyway, Amsterdam is a great place for a short break, the porn side is overstated but it''s there if you want it. Other than that this small City is a really good time.
