The former "O"SP agenda.........from last weeks meeting

I hope you realise what you have done @Greavsy ? He will be all over this like a rash.

I've posted it without comment, for other pinkun forum readers benefit.

I'm so bored with certain people and their constant appearance on here, but as I've said many many times, he craves attention, and whilst people give it to him he will persist.

He doesn't even have to comment / reply to appear!

It's beyond tedious.

Could someone remind me who on the OSP is also on here? I have a comment related to one of the agenda items I'd like to share if possible. Have a feeling that @GMF is one of them, is that right?

Good to see that the Terms of Reference were raised. Ditto for Season Ticket Attendance. Maybe Memberships too? What exactly is a Club Impact Report?

Correct.

Agenda for next osp meeting published here, with minutes also to follow.

For reference, the word official was dropped from the name last year. No doubt some will still refer to it by its original name, just like there’s plenty of fans who still refer to the Premier League as the Premiership! 😉

And the River end.

Is there an "unofficial" supporters panel? 😉

Would it be a good idea to use social media (this forum / Facebook etc) to share updates and tweets etc when they are issued so everyone is aware of minor changes like this, plus discussions / decisions made?

I think it’s more of a one-man crusade, so hardly a panel, aka a panel beater, but enough of the frivolity!

Hats off to that reply.

I see what you done there!

Unless you have posted an  incorrect link, the agenda is for a meeting that took place last week.

Correct the tweet was from last week, when the meeting was in the future.

I was only aware of it today, hence my suggestion earlier that the panel members publish on other social media platforms for as wide an audience as possible. And possibly input to meetings depending on agenda items.

Apols for confusion

As a former member, although input is potentially needed, if every member bought 1 item would result in 11 additional topics which is not really viable.

If supporters have issues, they have the ability and should feed these directly to the club

The panels purpose is as a sounding board for the club and for them to float ideas and proposals before release to a supporters.

Also some issues discussed are confidential and don't appear on agenda or minutes.

I will have a word with the Historical Trust to see if they can acquire some OSP Agenda's for their collection. Could be a rear item in years to come.

@Greavsy i was referring to the agenda.

I don't know Tilly.

I posted the link in good faith, and the link cross references the link to the website I posted.

The twitter post was 5 days ago, and no one has shared it until today, and the comments are.

1.The name of the panel is wrong.

2. It's out of date.

3. Is it available elsewhere?

4. That's without reading the ADs responses.

I think this proves the (formerly official) supporters panel needs to improve its comms whilst not inviting supporters input

So apologies for trying to help,  and not knowing the answers for something that I'm not involved in.

You might have to explain the meaning of that word to a certain  someone.

@Greavsy was in no means trying to disparage you in any way!

Posting the agenda should have resulted in many thanks and not a debate!

Thanks for posting the agenda, look forward to the minutes in due course!

OTBC!

Thanks,

Wasn't after any thanks (although appreciation is always nice of course)

I have been critical of the OSP as it was called then, so deliberately posted without comment, as not my place to do so and to avoid any criticism.

Like every representative panel they aren't going to please every one all the time, but the way forward is to listen, explain, engage and adapt (as necessary). I wish the (O)SP and their members the best of luck going forward in their endeavours.

If you knew the meeting had already taken place then why did you state "Agenda for next sp meeting ..."? [my emphasis]

And why did you not point Robert Lim in the right direction when his post made it clear that he thought he could raise a question for a meeting that had already been & gone?

Now look what a fine mess you've got yourself into G. Apologies  for finding this entire thread quite hilarious , apart from some idiots pathetic attempt at humour again. The club is clearly not sinking. And who'd take financial advice off a clown who thought he'd make money being a very minor investor in a small provincial  footy club.

Fair play to anyone trying to do some good at our club,  especially  volunteers, working within footy as a volunteer  usually brings plenty of suggestions but very little help....and that's before you consider there are people who want things to fail , who will carp, criticise and even connive to that  end.

Obviously @Greavsy can answer this for him(?)self, but since I was mentioned, I understood his reference to good faith as meaning that he thought it was an upcoming meeting when he shared it on here. As did I when I clicked the link.

Apologies, therefore, to @GMF if I wasted your time with my DM.
