It is not entitlement for us fans to expect much better than the recent run of results and inadequate performances, especially as we are led to believe that that our players are amongst the highest paid in the league, that they have an army of specialists attending to their every need behind them at Colney and all backed up with equipment rivalling that seen at the Kennedy Space Centre and then with the whole institution overseen by a Director of Football who is paid so much that he will soon be able to buy Mount Everest let alone climb it. Capt. Pants 4,275 Posted October 25, 2023 Luckily the bottom 2 look already sorted, and probably the bottom 3 as well. A very poor transfer window next summer where we lose the likes of Sara and Rowe then next season could be uncomfortable. komakino 274 Posted October 25, 2023 I'd like to think the club would intervene before League One was staring us in the face. However, I think some of the squad are no better than when we were last there. Wagner does have the look of a man that has run out of ideas, not that he had many in the first place.
