Exactly, Dad moved to Cheshire for work, son was fortunate enough to get another club close by so could stay with his family.

I always felt it was the other way round and that dad was given the job as a way of getting the son up there...

It's possible that something was going on behind the scenes, but the facts are Gunn Sr changed his job in the May, Gunn Jr didn't sign for Man City for another couple of months.

Even if it was that way around I wouldn't say he screwed us over, given the opportunity to train with Man city at that age as a keeper would be a fool not to...
