king canary 7,714 Posted March 23, 2021 A few others.... McVeigh v Wolves in the play-offs 2002. Wolves were giving it the big'un when they went 1-0 up and watching the shortest player on the pitch place a perfect header into the the corner to take the lead and shut them up was brilliant. Malky v Stockport- same season, an ugly goal from a corner but one that put us into the top 6 on goal difference. Although I do remember then spending the next 10 minutes glued to the radio trying to hear what was going on at Burnley who could have scored and knocked us down to 7th. Pilkington v Man U - I do love flicked header into the top corner! The image of De Gea at full stretch with no chance to stop it was my desktop background for about a year afterwards. Leicester planning to increase capacity to 45,000, we’d be fine too filling a bigger Carrow road.

Wombledoner 4 Posted March 23, 2021 My favourite is Phil Mulryne away at Reading in the 2003-2004 promotion season. Lovely assist by the ref!! Knew we were getting promoted when that went in!

Mutley 79 Posted March 24, 2021 Bruce in that SF against Ipswich Stringer to keep us up in our first season at the top table Goss at Bayern Munich Martin O'Neill's last minute free kick winner right in front of us in the North Stand to beat Ipswich 3-2 Craig Bellamy at Ipswich to win 1-0. The previous visit was v painful and had ended 5-0, so v sweet. Every goal scored against Ipswich really is a favourite surely, especially that 9-2 season Redmond at Wembley, a great finish and a fabulous move/day And definitely Justin's v Liverpool
