Dowell out again - surgery

Very minor operation so will miss this and likely next week, but then no reason he won't be back as long as it doesn't react to a return to training

I think they're just removing a pin that was put in his ankle during the previous operation, so shouldn't be anything to worry about. Couple of weeks' rest and he'll be raring to go again.

Good one (genuinely), but to be fair to him, he was essentially poleaxed from behind by that (bournemouth?) player.  How that didn't yield a booking at least is beyond my comprehension.

Preston player - smashed into his ankle from the side - a bit similar to Zimmermann at West Ham last season - and that wasn't even a booking either.
