Big Vince 423 Posted December 1, 2017 Proceedings got off to an inauspicious start when Ballsup called Wynnie by another name during the introduction. Getting on to the formal business, someone wanted to make an issue about some completely irrelevant mission statement when as the boy Webber pointed out the club had many more pressing concerns.Delia and the boy Foulger were then told that they were not up to the job and ought to stand down. But when it came to the vote, the Massed Ranks of Coffin Dodgers all lined up to give Delia and the boy Foulger the green light to carry on failing until the club reaches the Bananarama league, or worse. The number of questions from the floor was somewhat impeded by the long, rambling, non-sensical answers from the top table that was mixed with some extraordinary use of language from the boy Webber; the content of which must have startled his employers as it effectively blamed them for all the woes he has inherited.Despite being responsible for thousands of mistakes during their tenure, the Board were steadfast in their reluctance to say anything at all - except when Wynnie was challenged directly at the end to explain his penchant for sacking managers once it is too late. At which point Wynnie stated that Worthy should not have been sacked earlier because he got the club to the EPL. Wynnie then proceeded to state that Hughton should not have been sacked after the 7-0 at Man City as he had a lot more games to lose before reaching his sell by date. Wynnie then stated that the boy Neil could not be sacked earlier on the grounds that, like Worthy, he got the club to the EPL.So apart from these belated utterances from Wynnie, the rest of the Board said nothing (apart from a brief statement from Nepotism Tom, on the prompting of Ballsup, that he was in charge of protecting CR from all the bin Ladens out there). Even though Delia and the boy Foulger were told they were no good, they offered no defence whatsoever, yet were unanimously acquitted by the Massed Ranks of the Coffin Dodgers. The only person on the top table to emerge with his reputation in tact, or enhanced, was the boy Stone. At least his presentation was accurate, honest and credible. The boy Farke''s reputation was shredded instantly after saying that the shareholder who told him how the team should be playing ought to join him at Colney to assist with the coaching there. Imagine that - a Coffin Dodger taking training at Colney!!The club continues to treat its supporters like children by peddling this nonsense about wanting to be "the best club in the world". It would be interesting to know quite what their definition of "best" is.The club gave a showing of its usual propaganda video basically saying how wonderful it is in being all things to all people in the community. It became clear from the meeting that henceforth NCFC is to be a feeder club for the Premier League by bringing through academy players that will be sold on rather than benefiting NCFC itself. That being the case, any begging bowl for money to do the academy upgrade will surely go down like a lead balloon. It was clear from the meeting that failure to gain promotion this season will mean that, under the current structure and ownership model, EPL football will be out of the question for a very long time indeed. The club is going to be massively downsized.Cardinal Peter Wolsey wanted to give a long speech followed by 3 questions, but was cut down to size by Ballsup who limited him to just the one question. The Right Reverend Cameron Newark did better this year than last by asking a good question about the decline in communication between the club and fans since they stopped doing the supporter roadshows across the county under the direction of the boy Cullen, who went to MK Dons some time ago.Barry Skipper was spotted at the meeting, but appears to have lost some of his marbles as he couldn''t find his way out of the Norfolk Lounge even though he was once a director of the club.Perhaps this served as an allegory on the club in its present state? Crafty Canary 547 Posted December 1, 2017 Thanks to Ricardo and the boy Vince for confirming my view that attending the AGM is a total waste of time.Onwards and downwards!
lincoln canary (& Golden Coppel) 0 Posted December 1, 2017 Feeder club for the EPL, that’s exactly how I see Webber’s wanting it. Buying for cheap, selling for 2/3 times as much with early overhyped exposure. Funny how Pritchard and Maddison’s names have been banded about all week. Webber will actively try to shift these two in January. Given Pritchards injury and zero game time, there’s a good chance that interest in him is low right now, so why promote his name if we don’t want or need to sell in Jan? Makes you wonder as to the real reason behind rushing him back. Originally scheduled to start playing again in Jan, he makes an early comeback in Late Nov.... a good 4 weeks before the transfer window opens....

daly 551 Posted December 1, 2017 Must agree BVThe meeting was a complete waste of time with the questions from the floor to the ramblings of Mr Farke who probably struggled to interpret the Norfolk dialect. Still wish I could speak German as well as he speaks English. Only thing I managed to get out of the AGM was a bloody dose of the Flu
