It's Character Forming 1,167 Posted June 23, 2017 reminds me of that sketch from not the nine o''clock news (no not Pamela and American Express). People in a railway carriage doing the crossword. One says "four letters - ends with IT - you find it on the bottom of bird cages..." After a suitable pause One of the others replies "GRIT " Cue the nun in the corner makes a tutting sound, picks up her pen and corrects her answer...
BroadstairsR 2,224 Posted June 23, 2017 Side issue but IF Jacob were to move on how is it likely to effect Josh? Will his form and confidence improve without the competition of his (seemingly) better sibling?Would he pine and go to pieces never to be seen in a City shirt again.Or, and most likely, would he just carry on with the job in hand with hardly any effect on his form or progress.(Only identical twins need answer this question first. The remainder can come in with their thoughts later.).

SwindonCanary 455 Posted June 27, 2017 I see Leicester have slapped a £20 million price tag on Demarai Gray, we should do the same for both the Murphy''s Link
Lewis DW 11 Posted June 27, 2017 ''Similarly, Jacob Murphy''s performances from the bench for England have certainly been noteworthy and support a positive season in the Championship with Norwich City (eight goals and eight assists). As a player with a similar biographical profile to Demarai Gray and Nathan Redmond, Murphy''s positivity and athleticism will make him an interesting prospect for teams in the Premier League and also teams with well-defined recruitment philosophies such as Red Bull Leipzig.''Moving abroad is an interesting option for Murphy. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/10927450/european-under-21-championships-ten-who-have-impressed-the-scouts
Bethnal Yellow and Green 1,644 Posted June 27, 2017 Doubt there would be many clubs on the continent who would splash out the £12m - £15m needed to secure Murphy. The PL with its riches is always going to be the most likely destination for young British players. Platonic 1 Posted June 28, 2017 Agreed, Bethnal, particularly when clubs need to keep half an eye on the Home Grown rule
