  1. Unless the Ukrainian army performs a micrale then the Ukraine is gone or at least Russia leaning. No way Nato can builid up a force to confront Russia in the short term, but long term and I'm talking 2 decades worth of financial commitment to deployed a serious number of permanent armed forces along eastern Europe Russia will continue to seed sedation within countries with Russian leaning citizens giving out passports etc.
  2. Bit of panic really. The mood I've seen on the forum generally seems to be that Watford and Burnley were going down and we needed to make sure we were not the 3rd team along with the understanding that it's looked like we were down for some time. So realising you've got more competitors than you thought after some hope is well panicking.
  3. Good win for Liverpool to tip the goal difference in their favour.
  4. Back to the K-League, but this time to the winner of the league 7 times in the last 8 seasons, Jeonbuk. Odds are longer than you'd normally get as they are away to last seasons 3rd place side, but Daegu v Jeonbuk - Away win For the Norwich match I reckon Norwich to win and BTTS seems good value
  5. I'd like to hear more about getting the vaccine and treatment drugs rolled out to the poorer countries.
  6. Strange how this page went to from debate about how Russia was not going in to a post about Farange at the time Russia have exactly gone in. Be interesting to see how Russia will want to carve up Ukraine.
  7. Don't know anything about Welsh Politics, but added him. I won't add anyone from N.Ireland as no one is currently in charge there.
  8. Of course anyone who reckons the Welsh or Northern Irish leaders are worth voting for please speak up.
  9. Was thinking how the leaders have done with covid and their conduct in general and wondered how people would vote for Nicola Sturgeon if she was a leader in a UK party like leading labour or whoever. Not a vote the SNP/Tory more a vote for the person as PM
  10. You know I'm suddenly thinking how Boris involvement in another Independence referendum will aid/hinder him or it.
  11. Hard luck Hansterbubble and good stuff Crabby. Also well done for Parmas pick. 3 nil at half time and wins 3:4
  12. Without reading the thread I'll say we were always very likely to lose to Man City and Liverpool and lose ground during these games. We still have a chance, but it's a limited one. Not being able to beat Palace is more telling against the more apt point that we need to win our games and whatever the opposition do will be immaterial.
  13. Cheer up everyone. Because Fri 25 (A) Southampton - 8pm - 3pts March Sat 05 (H) Brentford - 3pts Sun 13 (A) Leeds United - 2pm - 3pts Sat 19 (H) Chelsea April Sat 02 (A) Brighton - 3pts Sat 09 (H) Burnley - 3pts Sat 16 (A) Manchester United - 3pts Sat 23 (H) Newcastle United - 3pts Sat 30 (A) Aston Villa - 3pts May Sat 07 (H) West Ham United Sat 15 (A) Wolverhampton - 3pts Sat 22 (H) Tottenham Hotspur Plus 3pts from the leicester game
  14. Maybe he wore one of Cantwells Alice Bands and it went to his head.
  15. Time for Norwich to upset the title race yet again. 1:2 to the Canaries!
  16. I'd be bloody annoyed as well. Only silver lining is it gives Leeds less recovery time before facing us.
  17. Can't resist as this weekend as the K-League starts back up. Another league where you get a good few draws sadly. This week Jeju United host on the holiday island the Pohang Steelers. Jeju are much fancied this season after a strong mid-table finish last season and a decent recruitment where some might say they are the most dangerous team this season. So Jeju United home win. For Norwich Gibson to be booked.
