Thread removed and its reference removed
wooster replied to wooster's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Can I just repeat that the streams are illegal but watching them is not (EU law no less). As a season ticket holder I get free access to ifollow but I can completely understand why others will find the £10 fee a stretch , particularly at this time of year. -
I responded to a thread from Bill about his earlier thread being removed. That subsequent thread seems to have been removed. What is going on? What is so sensitive?

We moved up from Kent to Norfolk in January '63. The family car was a Morris Oxford with split windscreen, no heater and non-stop condensation on all the windows. We (the children) sat on the back bench seat and had to have blankets and hot water bottles just to keep warm It seemed as if snow drifts towered over the car most of the way. In the new house initially we all slept in one room with paraffin heaters and a coal fire and every other room had ice on the inside of the single-glazed windows (that was a regular feature in every further winter for our bedroom windows). We had milk delivered to the house and by the time we took it off the doorstep the lid (and frozen cream) was several inches above the top of the bottle. It was like the 'Beast from the East' but over 3 months.

I thought Villa were the most gracious and generous of hosts when we won the Championship. They were a class act then and don't deserve this criticism.

Sorry, very late again but I've noticed Bet365 have 10 very short odds draw picks, namely: 2/1 Wales – Eire 21/10 Albania – Kazakhstan Bulgaria – Finland Hungary – Serbia Slovenia – Kosovo 11/5 Slovakia – Scotland Turkey – Russia 23/10 Belarus – Lithuania Georgia – Armenia Belgium – England I estimate a £10 bet would yield £22,900........... It wouldn't happen though would it. How about £5 on the top 5 if you have time NN. My pick is Hungary - Serbia

One of my neighbours is a Reading fan and he can't believe they are doing as well as they are. He's enjoying looking down on Norwich and asking when we are going to catch up. I had tried to reassure him that with Bowen in charge (as an ex-Norwich man) nothing could go wrong. However, his replacement seems to have turned things around.

I think they were on top between 30-75 minutes and therefore a draw is probably a fair result. Our opening half hour was impressive and we were clearly more 'at it' in the last quarter if not being particularly coherent. We were lucky with the deflection but we had probably earned it. I did think Brentford was an impressive team and I hope they do well this season.

Given that he's never played in that position and had no time to prepare his performance was nothing short of remarkable. His interview after the game also indicates that he relishes the challenge and that is good to hear. I hope he thrives at Norwich.
