  1. You''re dead right TC, it was Christmas eve, there''s even a plaque to commemorate it !!
  2. Is my memory going as I thought the Sex Pistols played West Runton ? I would have loved to have been around to have seen the Stax revue of the early sixties, Booker T, Sam and Dave etc , fantastic !!
  3. "nor was it ever choreographed by some halfwit sounding like the host at some old folks home "   [:)]
  4. I also going to Leicester with Duncan, I think it was the Keith Weller in tights match. I remember it because it was the day Vulcan bombers destroyed the airstrip on the Falklands
  5. "I was on that trip as well crabby. We lost 4-1 and Greg Shepherd scored our goal if I remember correctly. I always remember as the coaches were leaving some Rotherham fans were laying in the middle of a roundabout on their backs with their legs and arms in the air laughing like the robots on the old Cadburys smash adverts." TIL, they were doing the "dying fly" one of the strange rituals on tiswas at the time. Shepherd scored first but I seem to remember their right winger replied pretty much straight away. I just remember he was sponsored by Pukka Pies !
  6. Is their still a steward that stands in the door of the coach as it pulls up at Carrow rd to announce that it''s for "regulars only"?  He basically saves the coach for his cabbage mates.
  7. *waits for someone to say nice doesn''t make a good manager *
  8. Also, Le Tissier said on sky yesterday that Southampton are playing for a european place this season, a top 7 finish. The expectancy from some fans this season is too much in my opinion
  9. Swansea fans are starting to believe the hype, they think they''re a top 8 team without kicking a ball.
  10. I thought you were going to say he''s overweight and doesn''t want to be here [:P]
  11. Reading, you do realise I was being sarcastic don''t you ?
  12. So because they worked alongside Sir Alex that means they will automatically become great managers?   Yes ! Just like Mark Hughes             Ah.............
