1. This has to be by far the biggest thread on this forum, and probably in Championship forum history
2. Some people are so thick they think any official post from a Norwich account on social media is written by Delia, McNally, Adams, Hughton, and every player in the squad and they read every reply. So they just use any chance to reply to a club post to criticise the players. I doubt they actually meant to offend the remembrance
3. Think its definitely them being poor rather than us being great, but who cares. Fans are really getting on their backs, 1 more goal for us would kill it imo
4. http://www.wiz1.net/channel29 Probably already been posted but an actually really decent quality stream with English commentary
5. Yeh thats the one Muffles. All the sc*mmers were so excited to have a local lad in the team for a derby, and johnson wiped him out in the first 10 minutes and he didn''t have any impact on the game
6. Why does them getting stuffed suddenly give them an advantage over a team who just got stuffed 4-0?? Both teams are in seriously poor form, it''ll just come down to which team raises it most for the game. All these factors which supposedly give us or them advantages are complete BS
7. Head over to NorwichTalk. It''s much more ''level headed'' shall we say...
8. https://twitter.com/LukeHyam19/status/529777224203784193 Hopefully in May we can answer his question..
9. Drop Whittaker and actually play one of the 3 centre backs we signed over the summer. I''d love to know how much Cuellar, Miquel and Hooiveld get payed every week just to watch Martin fail at being a centre back
10. hahahahaha never seen anyone get a vine mixed up for a live stream ;) Vines are 6 second videos for any of the older generation who aren''t quite up to speed with the latest social media
11. If you do set up a paypal then make sure you post it on here. I''d be more than willing to contribute, and I''m sure a few others on here would too if they saw the results
12. The websites themselves are operating illegally, but you are at no risk of being told off by your internet provider or anything like that. And you do get a heck of a load of pop up ads and spam advertisements, but you just have to be patient and they do eventually go away and let you watch the game in peace. Obviously the quality is pretty poor at times, but its better than driving all the way to Middlesborough on a cold Tuesday night
13. Well Thomo you have my backing 100% and I''d be more than willing to help or advertise it (if we do get a home tie). At the end of the day, people like Delia, McNally etc sit in the same ground as us, so they must be aware of the problem too. I''d like to think the club would be supportive
14. Pretty sure the reason is the pitch use to have a slight slope towards the River End, hence why they decided to kick that way second half. And now its just tradition, despite it not making much sense
15. Maybe Thomo when the FA Cup comes round, if we get a home tie we could try to get a little campaign together for all the like-minded vocal fans with flags etc to all sit together in the E Block? Would be nice to try it out
16.
If we concentrate on getting a core of vocal fans together then we will gradually start to bring an atmosphere back, and in turn, more people will want to be a part of it.
Completely agree Thomo. Most clubs have a corner or smallish area where all the ''loud'' fans are crowded together so they can all sing/wave flags or whatever in unison. We need to turn the E Block into the place to be for vocal fans
17.
I followed this match on TV (Norwegian TV), and the commentator, which happen to be a Norwich fan, also mentioned several times the lack of atmosphere. Against Bolton, on a Friday night, you expect the crowd to be boozed up, but none if it was much heard on the telly.... Now, I know that usually the microphones are put in front of the away supporters on TV matches, but the Barclay is close, so the noise from Barclay should have been heard.
Respect to you Sir for travelling all that way so many times a season.
18. Shame those at the Wolves v Birmingham game couldn''t do the same. Disgraceful they were
19.
I find it bizarre Adams has signed 3 centre backs but plays Martin there, despite the fact Martin is a better right back than Whittaker. Last time we were in the championship Martin was quality at right back. Ryan Bennett is back soon and i think him & Turner will be our best partnership at the back. Hooiveld & Turner together will be easily undone against any sort of pace.
Agree. Signing 3 centre backs but not playing any of them is rather strange. I know there''s the whole ''you need a deep squad'' argument which is true, but to get 3 players in the same position, but then play our best Right Back there is really strange. Whittaker seems to be one of the ''Undroppables''
20. He appears to be almost back in his prime during our promotion season. Being paired with a quick forward in Nahki Wells is bringing the best out of best of them
21.
Ultra in england? Next joke please
Clearly you haven''t figured out sarcasm yet
22. "Exactly what I have been saying LDC I don''t believe that many of those criticising a lack of atmosphere were actually at the game ,,,,, or maybe they sit in the " river end " I do have the misfortune of inheriting a seat in the River End. Although there are a handful of naughty rebels who now stand up when we have a corner! (True madness) It hasn''t gone down well with the stewards
23. First time I''ve ever seen old-fashioned style flags being waved at the top of the Lower Barclay. Nice to see. I was quite surprised the stewards didn''t threaten to chuck them out for it! Next home game, I''m expecting something like this.. http://uniceone.files.wordpress.com/2013/12/hf05-1.jpg
24. I also noticed it was more dead than usual. i can only assume the very low-tempo game in front of us was the main cause.
