Anyone else feel we should always kick towards the Barclay in the 2nd half of matches?

Out, results since 01.01.13 just not good enough & football poor to watch with players losing confidence and seemingly being stifled from performing as they could / should. For me the coaching Houghton is not helped by his choice of coaching staff as a contributing factor to the lack of delivery. As for replacement, Mike Phelan would be my choice with a remit to keep us up this season and build for the future from top to bottom.

As stated, any comments perceived as "anti Wes", unlikely to prove popular, but is the beauty of our national game is that it is one opinions hence my starting 11 next week would be as suggested. Would also like to see Bennett as Bassong''s defensive partner over time. Thought Whitaker was impressive yesterday for a player late to the team this season.

I have a very contoversial opinion, drop Wes and play Pilks in his position and bring in Surman to play wide left. My person opinion is Wes flatrers to deceive and we would be more potent with Pilks in the free role.

For me Pilkington is probably our best pre-season signing (although Ayala might run him close over time), however, whilst I am no Paul Lambert and am probably running thr risk of upsetting many city fans, next time we play the diamond formation I would like to see Pilks playing the "Wes role" in the belief that he would actually prove more effective.
