1. Don''t know if it''s been posted on here yet but I thought I''d share it with you all, no idea what the quality will be like. Brighton are a good championship team and play decent football so should be a good game!  Lets hope Ricky gets a hat-trick, and we win 10-0.  Have to admit,  it''s nice not having to wake up at 4am to watch us on live stream ;)   http://ce.lviv.ua/live/brighton-hove-albion-vs-norwich-city-live-stream-30-07-2013/
2. I hope I''m not the only one going!     Does anyone know what kind of squad we''ll send?   I know we''re playing Brighton the next day, so Hughton will want the best players to face a higher quality opposition,  but i really hope we don''t send a complete Norwich XI.  Hopefully a few first team players will make it to the Abbey stadium,  but I doubt it.    OTBC
3. His agent said that we couldn''t agree personal terms, which were apparently very high.   Soo gutted!  He''s the kind of player we should move heaven and earth for!
4.
Should have gone to Specsavers; http://services.pinkun.com/forums/pinkun/cs/forums/2943832/ShowPost.aspx
My apologies.
5. here''s the artcile.   It''s in Dutch but google translate gives you a rough idea what it sayshttp://www.ajaxshowtime.com/hoofdnieuws/71607/pa-alderweireld-kijken-naar-totaalplaatje-.html?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=Tweetstart
6. Saw an article on Voetbal International (dutch football website)  saying the player, his dad, and his agent were coming over today for talks.  I wasn''t that convinced at first, but I''ve just seen a quote from his dad saying:''It''s true Toby had clubs in mind which are higher on the table, but the complete picture counts. Norwich have showed ambition and it would be short-sighted to say no in advance because they finished 11th''So these rumours definitely have some legs,  whether it turns into a signing or not is a different matter.  Lets all cross our fingers and hope!
7. I sit in the N&P and I know 99% of them won''t sing, not even to show appreciation for one of the most significant players in recent years.  But I will definitely join in,  think it''s a fantastic idea.  OTBC
8.  I know there''s already a thread about this guy,  but i wanted to post the article for everyone to see. Would be a brilliant signing- he''s one of the new ''golden generation'' of Belgian footballers.  He''s a CB/RB, so i assume that means Whittaker would be the cover for Garrido.   OTBChttp://www.insidefutbol.com/2013/07/06/yes-theyve-spoken-to-marc-overmars-norwich-city-make-move-for-liverpool-target-toby-alderweireld/91351/
9.
"4 new players being announced? " should I ............... ?
I know,  it was ridiculously stupid.  But people still believe it.  Like how some people believe  ''press conference at 2pm today, i have info from someone at the club'' ....
10. Is this like the rumour of the press conference last night at 6 with 4 new players being announced?
11. we are now 1/5 with skybet,   with some sites suspending bets.   It looks like a done deal
12. People seem to be desperate to accept for £4m *apparently* offered by Wigan,  but why?  I know that''s decent money for his age, but it''s not like we are in financial trouble and need to sell. His personality and the boost he gives to the squad is priceless.  And, assuming Vaughan leaves,  we only have Holt, RVW and Becchio up front.  Some fans seem to think we''ve out-grown players like Holt,  but even if i he doesn''t play every game he is still capable of doing a job for us next season. So do you think we should sell Holt?
13. City1st is clearly a wanker.   Did he tell you that while you were talking to McNally?
14. City1st,     why are you commenting on here if you''re not actually going to talk about the topic of the thread? It just makes you look sad, picking stupid little fights for the sake of it.
15.
nor did he hide behind another forum account either - you fool no one
What the hell are you talking about?
16.
I didn''t realise we weren''t doing that the previous two seasons
we weren''t, we were aiming for 17th.  Have you never listened to a McNally interview?
17. Just for fun (and we''ve got nothing better to do during pre-season).   I''m saying:Everton (h) 2-0.  Martinez will take a while to get his team sorted out into his style of football, we''ll catch them out early.Hull (a) 1-1.  Hull will be fired up for their first home game, especially as they''re likely to lose to Chelsea. Southampton (h) 1-0Spurs (a)  3-1.  I know we have a good record against them, but I think they''ll be very good next season. Villa (h) 2-0.   They''ll struggle next season without Benteke, hopefully get relegated  ;)Chelsea (h) 0-3.  Will be definite title-contenders with that new bloke as their manager.Lets aim for a top 10 finish next season! OTBC
18.
Don''t really see why we need another RB
Kyle Naughton is a left back now......   Hence why we''re trying to get him on loan,  as cover for Garrido.
19. Don''t want to ruin everyone''s excitement,  but i''ve seen several people saying he doesn''t exactly have a great reputation.  I watched a few videos of him on Youtube (like many other fans)  and some of his ''highlights'' were just him pushing people on the floor for no reason! Now I know his personality isn''t as significant as footballing abilities,  but is this the kind of person we want in the squad?  We''ve been so successful over the last 3 years partly because of the amazing team chemistry we had,  and we definitely don''t want that to change.  But if he scores a hat-trick on the first day of the season,  we probably won''t give two hoots about his personality.
20. Like the idea of the whole ground braking into howls when his name is read out, but we need a song. The obvious suggestion is  ''feed the wolf and he will score'',  but I think the lower barclay can think of something more creative than that!
21.
to me that looks like a picture taken when the jarrold was first put up.
Well clearly not when the Jarrold was first built because the Aviva Community Corner  or whatever it''s called wouldn''t be there! Definitely not someone with a long-term memory...
22. YES   I love the idea of having a big flag on away matches,  would improve our atmosphere massively.   Maybe a Norfolk flag isn''t a great idea,  because as the club is growing we are gaining more and more fans from far away places like Lincolnshire, Cambridgshire,  even LONDON!  But in all seriousness,  a big flag would be brilliant.  Maybe a England flag  with  ''On The Ball City'' ,  each word in each quarter of the flag?
23.
Who is saying? I would take him for about 5 million, talented player but lacks consistency
here''s the article.   There''s been about 10million tweets about it on Liverpool pages.   http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/405829/Norwich-want-Liverpool-s-8m-rated-Jonjo-Shelvey
24. They''re saying Liverpool have priced him at £8m and we''ve put in a bid of roughly that price  (probably a load of codswallop).  Is that too much?  We know English players (especially younger ones) are over-priced in this league.  But I feel with a few seasons of regular first team football he could easily be worth double that.  So would you pay £8m for Jonjo?    That name is probably worth about £8m alone!
