1. I was under the impression Worthy was attacking people who were spreading rumours about Leon, Deano etc - as opposed to legitimate supporters who are entitled to their views. Perhaps what he meant was that some people will say things on here and other boards that they wouldn''t dream of saying if they were actually held responsible for their statements, or had to say it to someone''s face. However, I''m sure the players and Worthy must realise that this is what happens on pretty much all message boards - I find it quite surprising to hear that professional footballers are getting upset over baseless rumours/allegations made on what is effectively an unmoderated forum (CanariesWorld that is, not PinkUn). I suppose it at least shows that the players who do view the boards at least still care about the club! Can anyone who was at the AGM clarify Worthy''s statement please?
 2.
has dicky done something wrong? Or just given an opinion...
Obviously, Dicky has done wrong! He has a differing opinion to the majority of posters on this message board, making him not only stupid, but also just wrong. To be honest, when people stoop to "hilarious and satirical" personal veiled insults it does make this board a bit of a waste of time, which is a shame. Also, I''m sure people dislike Worthington''s management, but to start calling him "Worthless" and worse is just a tiny bit childish. Perhaps we should all get back to the football rather than the whole "Miss, he doesn''t agree with what I say, he''s stupid!" playground mentality that seems to frequent most NCFC message boards nowadays. </rant> Ian
 3.
I hate to admit this but this will be the only way any action will be taken, if we keep winning the odd game by the odd goal and then reverting back to poor performances and dropped points as we have ...
I think it is a sad, shameful state of affairs when club supporters want their club to lose, for whatever reason(s). I, frankly, would much rather we went on a winning streak and didn''t sack the manager, but perhaps that''s too logical for the majority of blinkered Worthy-haters on this board, who can''t see past their only pathetic prejudices.
 4.
Although I don''t normally make notes of the commentary ( I did not get them verbatim ) but did during the first half of the Millwall match, which were as follows: Prior to the game starting - Neil we...
That''s absoloute clap trap Yankee Canary. We all know that Neil Adams is simply an agent on Nigel Worthington''s behalf, who constantly defends him, and has no free will or footballing knowledge of his own. Anyone would think you think he''s an experienced professional footballer who has his own opinions!
 5.
It would gladden my heart to see Worthy mess up Everton (No he''s not a premier manager) just like he did at Blackpool and us more recently. Oh by the way Amarillo, does his ''excellent credentials'' in...
just like he did at Blackpool and us more recently. Yeah, bring back the era of Chase and Hamilton!
 6.
Oh, you can''t beat a bit of blind faith can you Dicky?.
As opposed to blind scepticism?
 7.
Dicky, you perfectly illustrate everything that frustrates me about too many people associated with this club. You cannot transcend the ''small club'' mentality. You''re happy to accept that there will...
Okay, so you name me one team that doesn''t underperform at times? Go on, try it. Just because we''ve had one season in the Premiership doesn''t suddenly mean we are going to p**s all over every Championship squad. The fact remains, we are playing much better as a team than we were at the start of the season. Back to your original post - we were not awful in the second half at Brighton. If we had been awful they would have generated many chances and won the match. As it stood they had one wonder-goal, and not many other chances. I don''t really see how that can be classed as awful. Would you rather we went all out for the entire 90 minutes, risking injury and fatigue, even though we were cruising at 2-0 up and went on to win the game very comfortably?
 8.
More like his bloody mother St John. Especially the way she''s always defending her ''little boy Nigel''.
Yet another example of your hypocrisy Wizard.
 9.
I really can''t believe some of the BIAS that exists on these messageboards and across the whole of the Norwich fanbase. I quote "Colin has not put a foot wrong all season". I mean have you been watchi...
Someone who speaks sense at last.
 10.
Neil Adams was a donkey as a player, so it''s no surprise that what comes out of his mouth on Radio Norfolk is little more than the sound of braying. Luckily he only does the co-commentary and phone-in...
Does that mean you were a toilet as a player?! How very unusual...
 11.
I subscribed to Canaries world last month , but find I cannot access the video / audio functions .... the video screen appears , but as soon as I press the " play " button , the following message...
Does the occur on all files you try to play, or only specific ones? I say this, as I found I couldn''t access the Northampton highlights this morning (file not found), yet all the others work fine.
 12. then point out where Worthy accepts any of the responsibility for ours? “I''ll stand up and be counted,” said Worthington. “What I need is the players to stand up and be counted.
 13.
I disagree rieg77, most keepers hoof the ball upfield to relieve pressure if the ball can''t be safely collected, but Greeno often picks the ball up and bowls it wide IF the option is open to him. Afte...
I suspect this is a case of noticing the hoof more, because that''s what you are looking for. In the same way that some fans can tell you exactly how many times Fleming gives the ball away in a match, but wouldn''t have a clue if you asked them to provide the same stat for any other City player! That is right on the money, Fat Barman.
 14.
is he really that good?
4 in 8 -- expand that to the entire season and that''s 23 goals! I reckon he''ll end up with at least 30. Mark my words, and I''ll be happy to bring this thread up in 38 games time!
 15.
Yep, it''s all Flem''s fault isn''t it? Deano & Leon haven''t missed chances have they(?) and our current predicament is totally due to Craig. It''s been a collective balls-up so far this season and ...
Davenport rates Fleming -- check the article on the Pink ''Un. He''s still a good defender, just seems to be the punch bag for the boo boys currently. Seriously, I saw some highlights from our 03/04 promotion campaign. Our defence was awful, and always has been awful! We just cant seem to score. EIGHT shots on target at Watford, scored 1. They had 2, scored 2. I think this demonstrates just where the problem lies.
 16. Keegan!? Are you having a laugh?? Let''s not forget he couldn''t do it at Man City having spent millions...
 17.
ah some of you make me laugh. Yeah, thanks for the insight Gazza about the training, we now all know where it''s going wrong. Worthy talking to other coaching staff, working on set pieces, and as for h...
Now that is some classic sarcasm! Well said SPat.
 18.
Gazza, the only qualities I can see you list ahead of saying Fleming doesn''t have any of them are "passion, belief, central position and experience". Which of those things doesn''t Fleming have?Any why...
Maybe I''ll be accused of being one of the "Keep the Faith" brigade, or whatever, but I have to say I''ve been to a few home matches this season and Fleming has looked more than capable at this level, and certainly not glaringly bad by any stretch of the imagination.I think it is the case of Fleming being the "demon", or at least blamed for the entire team''s lack of performance (in some peoples'' eyes).
 19. Also, can''t somebody please fix the faulty bulbs in the score board?! It''s almost embarassing everytime I look at my Norwich 2 - 0 Man Utd scoreboard backdrop!
 20. Yes, personal comments are never fair, but let''s be honest -- Wiz regularly used to sink to the level of insulting people outright. Whilst retalitory comments can''t be condoned, it''s quite amusing to think that he can''t take what he gives out! Anyway, as Yella Fella said, enough time wasted on this I think!
 21. I guess the problem is that legally Archant may be on shaky ground. However, I suppose the usual disclaimer "we''re not repsonsible for the views or opinions of people using services provided by us", might go someway towards helping the matter. How about a) a swear-word filter, and b) a 2 week trial with instant posts?
 22.
Ooh, Premier 1, you can''t say anything contentious about that nice Mr Worthington, especially criticizing his ability as a manager. Even if the team''s one place off the bottom of the Division and we h...
I think the point being that it''s not actually funny. If it was actually amusing as opposed to veiled insults, I would find it at least as funny as everyone else. Perhaps I''m just not as malicious as some of the posters on here.
 23. >>I very much well think I''ve got more in my brain than such "boring old 40 people" that Herb, Mr Rosario, I Shchumer and Premier1 have put together! I''m 21 years old and I''ve just graduated with a first in Computing for Artificial Intelligence (BSc). Perhaps you should engage your brain before speaking, if there''s so much in it.
 24. Has Kristiansen played in the Championship before? If not, then he may well turn out to be another Jonsson -- should have the class, but never quite worked out. Chorley is another player who playes lower tier football, who doubtless has a lot of talent, but I wouldn''t be too sure he would instantly fit in. We really have to ask ourselves if he would actually improve our squad. I''m not saying these players haven''t got quality, but we need to get players who can make an instant improvment to our squad -- who are guaranteed to perform at this level, and who can fit in with our style of play. There may well be players who fit below the £2m budget, but alternatively, if these players have to come on loan then so be it.
