  1. Bring Jackson in for Martin to freshen things up in attack. Give Lapin the benefit of the doubt but bring on Mac at halftime if he''s not getting the delivery right.
  2. Can anyone think of a class act like Dion Dublin with Premiership experience who can play centre half and centre forward with a season or two left in the tank. Surely that kind of experience and target man cover for Grant Holt would be invaluable to us this season.
  3. ... any chance of an update for the Forest game please.
  4. he''s naturally talented but unprofessional and not very bright so he doesn''t have the potential to improve his game and he doesn''t have the work ethic to play to a consistent level week in week out. Peter Grant knows this and will get rid of him in the summer. I think most mangers and fans will tear their hair out over PMV but perhaps somewhere there is a club and a manger with whom he can thrive. It''s just never gonna be NCFC.on the ball city!
  5. Sorry if this has already been asked, but why is the team of the week Grimsby when we''re next playing Colchester? Is it that we''ve never played Colchester in a competitve game?
  6. Note to PG...To stand any chance of beating Chelsea we should be solely concentrating on defending and attacking set pieces this week. No more rubbish short corners please. With Lappin in the side we now have someone who can deliver a decent dead ball and with the likes of Brown, Dublin, Shackell, Etuhu etc we have the stature to bother Chelsea in the 6 yard box from set plays.I''m not suggesting we go there playing long ball. In open play we should play the kind of "good football" that makes us all want to support our fine team, but let''s be ruthlessly organized at the one thing that is a leveller in football - the set play. Also if Frank Lampard is shaping up to shoot, can we make sure nobody tries to block or close him down. How many of his  goals for chelsea result from a scuffed shot defelecting off a defenders arse before pathetically pea rolling over the line. While I''m here..Note to Steve McClaren...Why not put Huckerby in your next England squad and play him left side. Let''s face it he can''t do any worse than the pathetic lack lustre 11 that didn''t turn up against Spain.
  7. Don''t know about you lot but the recent statement from Peter Grant saying that he has plenty of money to spend to rebuild the team is a bit worrying! Exactly where has this money suddenly appeared from? I can only fear the worse and be resigned to the fact that Earnshaw has already been sold for £4 m to a struggling premiership side. There was a time when I remember debates on this message board with some folks saying "I''d rather be winning games in the Championship than loosing games in  the Premiership". Oh dear, look where we''re at now, but then I''d rather be loosing games in the championship than winning games in League 1 :-(
  8. and did he jump or was he pushed? could this be the start of a much needed clearout, hopefully some deadwood will be off-loaded in January... My vote to replace him would be Ian Crook, but perhaps Grant will bring in someone from North of the boarder? any thoughts...
  9. ...yes please IMO. He''s got great pace and an eye for goal - shame it''s in the middle of his forehead though! What do you folks think?
  10. It was a joke [:''(] ...a satirical view on Worthy''s signings if you like.
  11. ...has just been put on the transfer list by Forest. Surely not...please [8-)]
  12. ...a good bit of business IMO and no coincidence that results have picked up while he''s been in the side.
