1. Seriously, some of you lot need to take a step back, look at what you''re posting and realise it''s actually b*ll*cks.Sorry to be so blunt, but some of the posts on here recently have been hilarious. Questioning Lambert''s transfer window activity (and it is Lambert you''re questioning, not the board, because we know cash was available) in particular really shows the ignorance of some people.Lambert spoke today about how important squad harmony is and how he looks to sign players who compliment the current squad''s togetherness and work ethic. Sadly, that isn''t every player who some of the armchair experts on here found were really good on Football Manager 20XX.If we don''t go up (and honestly I don''t expect us to this season) then the players aren''t suddenly going to become rubbish next season. While the manager maintains the togetherness we have, the team can only get stronger. He maintains that by signing the players he wants, not the ones you want.Sometimes the one you''re really after gets away, as with Bennett. The worst thing we could do in that situation is sign an also-ran of questionable ability/attitude, especially with a squad thats doing a pretty decent job already. Been down that road before and you end up with some of the performances served up under Roeder.I wouldn''t mind betting that these same people were the ones booing the team off on Tuesday. They didn''t manage to sing all game, yet they find the energy to boo Lambert''s team off. Pathetic.
 2. Yeah, lets spend 800k on another Cureton because we couldn''t sign the player we actually wanted.
 3.

He can not be recalled by Arsenal.
Why on earth was Arsene talking about the possibility of him needing to be recalled then?! Surely he must have known there was no recall clause....?
He didn''t see it ...
Heheh...I assume this means a fee was involved (over and above the one agreed for wage contribution)As I understand it in those cases the player cannot be recalled by the parent club.
 4.
Away from home at a difficult venue, down to ten men, scoring a late goal to win 1-0?  The stuff of champions, that.
Let''s hope that''s what their players/fans are thinking.Cos that mentality worked wonders for us re. Leeds last season.
 5. Holt''s massive comedy TV mic ''tashe agains the scum was pretty cool.
 6.
I thought we had done the loan thing and prooved it dont work most of the time.
I dunno, Huckerby and Crouch worked out OK.Forster last season was class too.The key is quality over quantity.
 7.
I am affriad that why we are doing well Lambert will always be a target , that said.... he has already proven to be mercenary by leaving Colchester.
I disagree. How did Colchester''s loyal "support" Lambert turn out after our 7-1 defeat?Home game, 5k or so attendance. A half full stadium.Mercinary, no. Ambitious? Yep.On reflection he had every reason to jump ship for us. To Burnley from us? I can''t see it. If he does then maybe you''re right.
 8.
They could do a heck of a lot worse than Chris Hughton
Who gives a feck?If they got Roeder I''d laugh, thats about it.
 9.
And no Alcohol for them (as I think they are one of the team that have a ban in the refreshment areas (along with Millwall and Leeds)
And the scum surely?I really hope they didn''t get a chance to drown their sorrows at half time.
 10.
Lambert isn''t leaving.......
What he said.Lambert''s not going to be here forever, but while the board are willing/able to match his ambitions there''s still a job to do here and serious potential to achieve more. As far as Championship clubs go, where would be a better bet? Someone with loads of money to throw at it perhaps, but they also have the money to sack you after 6 months if you''re not 10 points clear at the top. Then there''s the possibility that a lower prem club comes calling. Would taking charge of a team consisting of underachieving mercinaries and egos to step straight into a relegation fight really be the right move for Lambert at this stage of his managerial career?
 11.
I''m glad so many people are excited by this signing
I don''t remember anyone saying they were particularly excited by the signing, more that he potentially fills a glaring hole in our squad. A frontman isn''t just about scoring goals, how many did Holt get against the Blades?I think too many people are underestimating the influence a good manager/backroom has on a player too. Has this bloke played under anyone as good as Lambert and co before? I doubt it.
 12. Lambert knows what he''s doing, his knowledge of the leagues below us is good and as far as I can see this bloke is the backup/competition for Holt most of us have been saying we need. Would people rather we spent 500k on and Alan Lee type player? It''s just another piece of the jigsaw falling into place.Lambert has done more than enough in his short time here for us to cut him a bit of slack and trust his judgement I think.
 13.
One night in Gt Yarmouth, it opened my eyes!         It showed me just how two faced you really are.
Yeah, cos that''s something no one could ever accuse you of being....
 14. Anyone witness Nugent goading/gesturing to the Barclay during the game on Saturday?I happened to speak to a couple of plod after the game about it, and they said it had been noted and they were not happy about it.Their advice was to report it to the club and to Norfolk Police. They said this would help in terms of some sort of action taken against him.If Barnett is going to get a hefty ban for his frustrations at the sending off, I don''t see why that knob should get off scott free. He was clearly inciting the crowd and made the polices job much more difficult after the game. He''s paid tens of thousands a week to act like a professional, we do not pay 25 quid a game to see him giving us the finger and acting like an arrogant little turd.I''m going to follow plod advice and report the incidents to both club and Bethel St. Lets see if we can''t get Nugent a longer ban than Barnett!
 15.
Is this April 1st????   Surly he is a bit below us now!!
To be fair, he had a great game for Col Who when he came on as a sub... [:)]
 16.
what about mtv though he seems to be the fagan of the morphs. why does he seem to think you put this ''NHS'' lad in hospital? And why does he feel the need to support every morph debate
This is a debate? Could have fooled me. Sounds more like a bunch of wannabe hardmen who''ve spent too much time w*nking over Danny "Dire" DVDs and a couple of blokes who like to dress up in lycra having handbags at dawn. Can we just get on with supporting our team? In case you hadn''t noticed, we''re doing pretty well.Anyone who would physically threaten/harm another human being over a game of football wants locking up.
 17. Why is it that every other thread on this board lately turns into a p*ssing contest between the usual suspects?Very dull indeed.
 18. I ripped it off iPlayer and converted/burned to DVD as soon as it was available.
 19. Superb interview as we''ve already come to expect. I must hold my hands up and admit it has changed my view on Worthy''s reign. I''d always assumed Worthy had got everyone he wanted for a crack at the Prem when the season kicked off. To learn he was after Ashton from the early summer and the board had knocked him back changes a lot in my view. Still think Malky was a mistake but hindsight is a wonderful thing. He had a good track record signing the right player for the right price, the board should have trusted him.I did think his time was up in the final weeks and that it was time to step aside, but it was to do with the poisonous atmosphere inside Carrow Road, not any dislike for Worthy as a man or a manager.
 20.
Easy tie!
Don''t tempt fate...
Another easy win like Paulton last season coming up in the third round?
Seriously. It''s a risky game.;)
 21. Nooooooo!!Well if he never scores another hattrick against the scum, don''t say I didn''t tell you so [;)]
 22. It was an obvious factor in his hattrick today, therefore the ''tashe must stay!He wears it well. Early days it put me in mind of Terry Thomas, but the pic on the new wallpaper is very Freddie Mercury.Either way, it''s an important weapon in our arsenal this season and must be allowed to grow freely, culminating perhaps in a full "Lord Melchett"
 23. I know several people who went to school with Mills and to a man their opinion is that the was a cock of the highest order.
 24. Me, obviously. They won''t even give me a trial though, spoilsports!
