1.
The answer is starring us in the face, The Wolf he isnt getting a game in France and is our player, why oh why people cant see that I dont know. He would be deadly at this level
The contract probably does not allow us to, i agree he could do well at this level and think AN could get the best out of him
2. I''m sure Akpom is a good player, but we have our own young forwards. If we are looking for another forward surely we should be looking at someone experienced, maybe a premier league striker who is out of favour?
3. I wonder if AN has actually met with him. Sometimes a manager can get the best out of a player, if RVW returns maybe AN is the man to do that after all he got a bunch of average hamilton players, playing above expectations
4. I have received this from NCFC   " I have been passed on your query with regards to a telephone call you received with regards to a youth lottery.   I can confirm this call is completely genuine, we have got a telesales company calling out on our behalf based in the Huddersfield area.   If you would like to know anymore information about the new 1902 Lottery please let me know "
5. Probably could - but I think his exit is as agreed and I think hes done enough for St.e to take it up
6. Youth team lottery If not genuine I''m concerned that NCFC have been hacked as the callers have both my numbers and Name
7. Has anyone received a call from this number claiming to be the club Does anyone know if this is genuine as its a Huddersfield number?
8. AN''s Win rate (counting the Bournemouth game that he didnt pick the team)
9. No 90% of the time reappointments don''t work at clubs
10. So far positive outweigh negatives ok Phelan has gone but all the rest seem to carry on from Hamilton As Hamilton have struggled since he left it proves that he can get a team geling and playing often better than anyone expects
11. McNallys done a great job Appointed lambert who''s record wasn''t brilliant but took us to 2 successive promotions and got the club in the prem well ahead of target Had 3 consecutive seasons in Prem Appointed Hughton it didn''t work out but he had a superb reputation when he came and was no 1 choice for most fans Managed to expand ground capacity by approx 1000 with little building work Appointed Adams probably not his best appointment but he had the best youth team for over 20 years and it looks like it was a performance related contract and he went with little pay off. Cleared 20 years worth of debts Found this young manager called Alex Neil who he spotted as a great young prospect, took a small team to a high position in top leage of that country and they haven''t won since. All in all good work, those of you that want him out we could alway have Neil Doncaster back
12. So Hamilton are struggling Perhaps it shows that the board did do its homework and found a manager who can get an average bunch of players playing well. Let''s hope this is the case and he stays with us for a long time
13. Grass isnt always greener on the other side! No doubt he will be back in work in the future but his managerial stock will have plummeted some what with 25% win rate at villa. Im sure he will get a crack at the scotland job at some point most Scottish managers of that level have!
14. 1stly Alex Neil is our boss and so far not doing a bad job so get behind him. For anyone who thinks bringing a great manager back is a good idea i will give you 2 words "Mike Walker"
15. Holt is assistant manager, phelan is head coach it''s more likely holt will go as his post has been taken over
16. Ditto it''s just corrected my post to Derbyshire anyone would think I was talking cricket!!
17. We could be 15 points clear at the top and just won 10-0 and some people would still moan. I think we were unlucky to go behind today it felt a little like the Derbyshire game but then it all went right
18. I would guess he has as i believe all Europe''s top tier division managers need one. However it is not a requirement for a manager in the championship to have one
19. As he will have been in the job little over 24 hours tomorrows side will be mostly Phelans picking. Should we lose you cannot judge him on the 1st game
20. every appointment is a gamble. All managers have to start somewhere, once upon a time St. Mirren risked a young manager called Alex Ferguson and we all know what he went on to achieve
21. Got to love some of these comments here, the likely new manager hasn''t even managed a game for us yet and people have already decided that he''s going to fail. As for no ambition, I think this is a very ambitious appointment, the board has hardly thrown a dart at a board and approached who ever it landed on, they have clearly done their research on him and decided that he''s got potential. Clubs have taken on young managers before from lower divisions and it has been successful, yes hes not a big name yet but could be in the future. Just because a club appoints a big name manager its not always successful, many have done amazing at 1 club and failed at another, sometimes after leaving us too. Come on people at least give him some games to see how he does and don''t start slating the side if we do badly at Bmth because afterall its unlikely he will be in full charge till next week
22. For those who go on about his age Karl Robinson who we have been highly linked with is only 34
