1. Such a shallow view of football. Cross = Goal. Is that Tony Pulis? I wouldn''t call Pilkington a goal-scoring winger. More of a left/right midfield who could put in a decent shift. For arguments sake, Lappin played alot in League One and quite abit last season. The others haven''t.Finally someone else sees some sense.
2.
(shrug) pffffft. Seriously though, I hope he proves to be a good signing - I''d be happy with no goals from him but plenty of tenacity in midfield.
Exactly, proper team player, plenty of gile too. Fox was finally appreciated at the end of the last season.
3. Cheers for clearing that up, Joanna.Fortunatley it is only a rumour. He''s not really another option though because he brings nothing new to the squad. In that case, you can compensate the signing of anyone as ''another option''.Why not give Lappin a chance? I agree, he''ll barely play at all this season but he''s earnt it more than Pilkington - who didn''t even get out of League One this season. He''s not even proven in the Championship! McNamee has more about him and I don''t even rate the guy.
4. For once Smudger is right. If he signs, you really think we''ll start with Bennett right and Pilkington left and adopt a 4-4-2 that we haven''t adopted, apart from one off games, since the days of Gunn? Pilkington is just trying to put himself in the shop window, plus we shouldn''t be interested just because Wolves and Stoke are. I''d be extremely disappointed to buy another decent League One player. Why would Pilkington automatically be assigned to set pieces because he takes them for Huddersfield? Christ, give Lappin a chance left-midfield! Premier League teams aren''t made up of match winners.
5. They churn out newspaper articles like you do new threads.
6. Why do people call League One ''the first division''?
7.
Jacksons lob vs Derby anyone?
Fortuitous.
8.
Very nice and excellent video quality too. Personally I would of gone with Crofts as number 1 and certainly would of added Holt''s flying volley against Bunrley away I think it was, deserved to be in the top 5 really but great video anyway.
For me, Holt''s unorthodox technique was a let down. Can''t argue with Crofts being the number one choice.
9. Our end of season fillum. In a particular order. There was a few other contenders but I had to get that fifth against Ipswich in there somewhere.
10. Hardly Pete''s doing is it? It''s ''press''.It''ll be in the paper too no doubt. Let him burn.
11. Whilst reading the rumours this morning I was thinking of David Vaughan, until someone put a link to his Twitter. Not that excited by this news... would prefer Dave myself.
12. Newcastle (h)A full house and we''ll steal the win somehow.
13. I wasn''t expecting them to be that good! There''s some lovely ones in there.
14.
... in Suffolk, according to the Evening News. Obviously trying to get out of the place: "One of the stars of Norwich City’s promotion campaign been spared a driving ban after he was caught speeding at more than 100mph. Midfielder Henri Lansbury, who helped the Canaries secure promotion to the Premier League, was clocked speeding in Suffolk."
Only a few days after we spanked them too. Hmmm.
15. It''s the last fillum of the season. Our first taste of European football at the Carra sees us up against Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem back in 1993. An incredible volley from Ekoku, one from Goss and another from John Polston gave City the advantage going into the second-leg.All previous fillums can be found on our Channel. We shall return next season the Froidee before our BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE game.OTBC.http://carrarud.blogspot.com

17. This for me, was worse than the Colchester disaster.
18.
Timely reminder of how good the legend called Iwan Roberts was. Strength, vision and goalscoring.
He looked unusually quick for the Cottee goal too.
19.
Have you got every season review in digital format? Is there any way these can be shared?
Now that is illegal.
20. City fight back from 2-nil down to claim three points against Sheffield United in October 2000.Some decent goals in there. The unfortunate Gaetano Giallanza does his cruciate for the first time. Our team:A. Marshall, D. Sutch, F. Derveld , L. Marshall, C. Fleming, D. Kenton, P. Mulryne, M. Mackay, I. Roberts, G. Giallanza (T. Cottee, 50), C. Llewellyn   Subs not used: D. Russell, R. Green, R. De Waard, S. Walsh
21.
Rileys Sports Bar - on magdalen street, above Roys department store opposite Anglia Square has the best screen in the city to watch it on!!Its 3 metres wide and also projects in HD, always a great atmosphere too. Another 13 screens in there to watch it on too!OTBC
They do crack behind the bar too, it''s great.
22. Never rated him at Palace.Lambert could probably get the best out of him... he has a knack at that.
23. Another five goal hauling to wet your appetite on a Froidee morning.Ashley Ward nets three in an intriguing League Cup tie at Valley Parade. City eventually lose to Brum in the quarter finals with a forgotten Jan Molby goal from 25 yards.
