Francis although inconstant was in the top 5 goal scoring midfielders, up there with Lampard, Cahill, Keane, Gerrard etc, how much are they worth?  (£32M for Gerrard.)  He outscored, Shearer, Ronaldo, Kluivert, Giggs, Viduka, Cisse, how much are they worth. Francis is IMHO worth around £3M and until we get an offer of at least £2.5M we should reject all offers.

I believe that the higher you are in the league the bigger advantage you have, you prove yourself over 46 games, and you may be several points ahead of 6th place.  So reward the higher teams with the final or home games, this means that there will be only three play off games, winner takes all.  My play off proposals:- The 3rd placed team should go automatically to the final. The 6th placed team will play away at the 5th placed team. The winner will play away at the 4th placed team. The winner will then play the 3rd placed team in the final. So if you finish 6th you need to beat three teams, 5th two teams and 3rd one team.  So if you finish 6th its a tough job but not impossible.  One drawback may be teams playing for the draw and winning on penalties, however that can happen in any competition, FA cup, Champions League etc.

Chill out Jas, this will not be a problem.  I have had a 3 year ticket for the past 4 seasons, and have 3 more paid for.  It’s great to be enjoying Premier League at 3 seasons ago Div one prices, about £3.50 a match!  The guys and gals in the box office are professional people and do a fantastic job, you will not have been overlooked they just have 10''s of thousands of tickets to sort out and the 3 and 5 year tickets are usually dealt with after the rest are sorted.  You will get next years ticket about 2 weeks before the start of next season, and don’t panic it will be your usual seat for the next 5 years. Yes I did receive a renewal form and have renewed, I have also had confirmation receipt from the club for 2007 / 2008.  By all means pop in and have a chat with the box office crew, they will soon calm your panics. Here''s to 5 seasons in the Prem!     

I sit in the Riverend lower tier, so its a good place to judge whos loudest.  I thought that Wednesday was a one off, but today was the same, so the loudest are.  Snakepit by miles, are you there D & E blocks?  A & B are outsinging you at the moment too.  Fantastic support from the Jarrold and the new infill THEY ARE LOUD.  I admit that we are very poor in the lower tier, even the cheeseboard boys are quiet now, but we never sung much anyway.  What excuse have the Barclay got?  Lets be avin you, come on, you''re not singing anymore!

Oh we''re marvellous, we sing out loud, get behind the team, 13th man, what a load of horlicks!  A bit of singing at the start from Snakepit + Barclay, a muted celebration for the Francis goal, thats it shut up for 77 mins.  Then when the whingers leave we start to sing for about 15 mins.  Anyone who was at Carra last year will agree that the noise levels this season are well below last seasons volume, whats happened to the South stand and Riverend?  Its time we got behind the team from the start, but we need the Barclay and Snakepit to inspire the rest of us to sing as well.  If we were the 13th man our rating today [Saturday] would be 6, solid but could do much better!  However I have to give us 10 out of 10 for the rendition of "You''re not singing anymore", is there a better song in football?
