1. Can someone educate me on NCISA? How many members does it have, how often does it meet? Who''s on the committee and what do they do? How much is the joining fee? And any other interesting information.
2. I''ll be honest, I''m looking forward to bringing one for the 4 and a half minutes it will last. Bring earplugs in the lower barclay.
3.
Let me tell you where I am..... I''m out.
Can you please post in big a big a$$ font ''I TOLD YOU SO''..Fair play lad [:d]
I think you will find CDM openly admits it was not a case of "I TOLD YOU SO".Read more carefully AndyCanary.
I think we will all find that CDM''s "wishful thinking" is more reliable than some of Mr. Tilson''s past fact-based assertions. CDM for new leader of NCISA anyone? [:D]
Sign me up!
The AGM is in September so look forward to your nomination forms....Democracy rules which i have absolutely no issues with.I take it you are all NCISA members?
Controversial.
5. Yes. I clearly said he was born at age 13.
6. I''m not sure he''d have been an A student, given he came from Africa with 1 parent, no documents and no education. He put his age down as 13 but was unusually stronger and bigger than other people his age. The guy is older than he says he is.
7. He is clearly older than his actual age. Like Kanu.
8. Well, no, he''s not - yet. He could be, as someone pointed out in the comments on my blog, but he needs work yet. He may well be yet, though.
9. Steve Claridge. Andy Gray. Andy Townsend. Jim Beglin. Jamie Redknapp.
10.
I''m not so sure. Ideally you do need someone left footed for the left hand side of the three. I think he will be given a chance. He can and has played at Champ level before and proved he can do it. Not the worlds best winger but you know what you are going to get from him and he is consistant. This Russell thing seems to be going on a long time so if he doesn''t sign it will be three from Crofts, Lappin, Hughes, Smith, Fox, Gill, T-J. It may be that Lambert think Smith needs another season at League 1 before he can make the step up on a long term basis. Or maybe not. However if you say that Crofts and Gill are the holding types that really only leaves you with Smith, Hughes, Lappin, Fox and T-J. For arguments sake Lappin was ahead of both Hughes and T-J last season. These are the rough facts of what we know. So perhaps Lappin being a regular starter at this point in time with the players we have right now, wouldn''t be so strange.
You''re pretty much right - he''s ahead at the moment and, as a friend said last night - he has the shirt. There''s no reason he''d be dropped as yet, I guess. What I find more interesting is whether he''s the right player going forward - whether he deserves to keep the shirt.
11. I absolutely agree it depends on what system we decide to play - I''m basing this simply on the belief we''ll stick with the diamond because Lambert doesn''t seem to be indicating otherwise. His signings certainly don''t suggest so.
12. Nailed on for a first team place? http://thirdlion.wordpress.com/ Read it if you like.
13. Any Norwich fan who says otherwise is, frankly, stupid.
14. DDD has it, I think - I would be very surprised if Lappin is a starter next year.
15.
Whilst i agree that the signings look quite promising I would have thought it might be wiser to see them actually kick a ball before giving them marks out of ten?
A revolutionary idea, lost on numerous Norwich fans.
16. The forums tactical expert?! I can only hope you''re being sarcastic. Please. Shyster could whinge all he liked about his overused metaphor but he was wrong. In fact, in another thread, he claimed that sticking with the diamond would result on us dropping into the play offs: http://www.pinkun.com/cs_pinkun/cs/forums/2010177/ShowPost.aspx And not long before, that we wouldn''t finish in the playoffs altogether should we stick with the ''cracked diamond'': http://www.pinkun.com/cs_pinkun/cs/forums/1941232/ShowPost.aspx Yeah - I''m not new around here. Tactical expert indeed.
17.
No point playing the diamond again, teams sussed us out by last November and we weren''t anywhere near as effective in the second half of the season.
Nowhere near as effective after November. Nope. We didn''t overhaul the leaders, build up a lead, beat Leeds, Charlton or Colchester United (2 of which were away), or carry on scoring for fun. Looking back, it''s a miracle we got promoted. What was Lambert thinking?
18. Rusty was absolutely key. Sending him packing because you (I can''t remember who said it) have some unresolved issues over relegation is, frankly, moronic. He was part of a team that went down. A team. Since then he''s proved to be instrumental to the way we play. I hope he stays.
19.
The only player we have signed so far that I''ve heard of is Elliot Ward. Not a good sign.
I think that says more about you than anything else.
