We have some of the best players in the league in every position bar winger and a decent amount of sides in the league wouldn't mind our wingers. I'd agree that we don't have the explosive star like Watford with Sarr but we're still playing far below the sum of our parts, even with injuries.

Thought ramsey was good for a game or two but he's a youngster and will be inconsistent. Clearly not at a level where he should be our starter that's for sure but Smith couldn't care less, he's doing a favour for a club he cares about. Once the form properly drops of and Smith goes he'll be first out of the team.

I think it feels like the Adams season more than the relegation under Worthy. Still winning games with star power but no tactical identity or mental toughness/****. Mix that with players being played out of position to get them into the team (Lafferty and Sarge). Smith gives cover teacher vibes. Might be wrong but I don't think the players (bar Ramsey) would be too fussed if he left.

There's a possibility that Man City might be so far clear by the end of January that they'd be open to loaning us Grealish. If that happens Deano might get us promoted.

I think Dowell and Sinani are good players but they're the type of players that a, need to play in a well structured side and b, need time to get into a rhythm. So the fact that they're playing 20 minutes here and there in a side that is anything but well structured would explain their performances.

I think our ideal diamond would be Hayden holding with Sara and Gibbs in the middle and Nunez playing furthest forward.

A bundle of energy, strong physically, some great touches and a well taken goal. Hopefully this can be an injection of confidence and spur on a run in the team. Potentially a very good option if we play with a diamond going forward too,

We haven't learned from any of the other ropey performances over the last year.

We also feel pretty fragile mentality wise. Really reminiscent of Neil Adams Championship games. Oh well, Only Sheffield United, Watford and Burnley away in the next couple of weeks.

Sinani, like a number of our midfielders, needs a strong structure around him. We've not got that.

It would be 5 points from 12. Considering we were lucky in a bunch of the previous wins I'd suggest this is much closer to what we'll be seeing going forward if performances don't improve.

Krul hasn't been on it for a long time. Only starts because he's Tim Krul.

This formation asks a lot more of the wider central midfield players. If it were me I'd drop Ramsey and use Nunez as the free creativer player.

Feels a lot more joined up than it has done which I think is down to Sargent playing up top. Midfield, particularly Nunez and Ramsey, pulling out of challenges hurting us though.

We all have the odd prediction go wide of the mark. That was also made before chaos hit their club and their manager left, just saying.

I'd love to see Smith celebrating with the fans but only genuinely. The token gesture isn't his style and honestly I prefer that.

He's probably at the age where most of the money would go on his wages and not the transfer fee. We're honestly spoiled where a player like Kenny Mclean is one of our less talented players.

Maybe all his injuries classify him as physically disabled. Or it could be an IQ thing and he's just mentally not there. Don't judge a book by it's cover. You're right though, he's probably just a ****.
