There is a serious point behind tonight''s drubbing. To achieve what we have done in 20 months, you have to do what we have done, to walk where we have been. No amount of money can cure the sickness in your club that is the belief that you are still an important team with a ''right'' to a higher status. You must face the prospect of total collapse before you can build a desire and spirit of togetherness from which comes solidarity and the chance to succeed. You have seen that tonight in the faces of those that destroyed you. You have not walked that road of despair or been where we have been. Tonight you took the first steps..............

coventry game

Thought it was a sell out; how many/how long did it take to sell the Coventry buy back allocation? More than a minute? -
So does the PFA team of the season nomination for Holty and Wes confirm that this is only a two horse race? Its nice to see several players who have good claims to win POTS, and who also had claims to make the PFA team. But....... Is the choice for us between a creative wizard, or a leader of men. The hearbeat of a side or the blood that runs in its veins. For me it''s Holt, simply because it feels like he is physically dragging the club to where it deserves to be. If you are in block J, row MM you have a seat high up with a very good view, between half way and the Barclay - you will be impressed with what you see of the pitch. I would also be interested on what you think about how much noise there is in the Jarrold, and also what the Barclay and Snakepit sound like from there. It''s a completely different perspective from what you are used to.

sitting in the watford end
Heresyourfathersgun replied to Brendo's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Is anybody else doing this? I am, and ill be honest, was a little worried about this. However upon reflection, think it is very unlikely that I will be found out. Any other advice other than sit quietly and clap a watford goal?? Thanks.
Find a quiet moment and the stand up and shout Luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuton! -
Never write off Adam Drury....
Heresyourfathersgun replied to LeJuge's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
The club won''t organise any pre season fixtures until this one is over and we know which league we''re in next year. Promotion would see us as a much bigger draw for a european side maybe, or a top premier side, so the club will be keeping its options open on a testimonial for Ads. Just because he can''t get in the team now doesn''t mean he''s got any less respect from City -
Jim Blair passes away
Heresyourfathersgun replied to Pete Raven's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Remember him well, if only because he looked like a fish out of water in his short time with us. Came with a decent goal scoring reputation, but never made the grade with us. Part of the Wembley legend. RIP Jim Blair -

It costs £4 and you can get in at tea time depending on space fron County Hall staff being free - getting out is the problem - it can take ages -
Comment from Guillem Balague on Pacheco
Heresyourfathersgun replied to The Chirp's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
It all means we can cope without Hoolahan. If anything, at times against Scunthorpe, having Wes AND Pacheco on the field confused us as much as them! It was like watching Arsenal as we weaved a web rather than play as direct as usual. We eventually sorted it out, but it may make things simpler if Wes isn''t fit and Pacheco gets to fill his role. I''m not certain he''s a second striker, so it may mean Jackson or Vokes start up front with Pacheco and Lansbury fighting for the creative role. Either way, we have selection problems of the right type, only made worse if Wes is fit! Lambert must be grinning from ear to ear with ''problems'' like this. -
Grant Holt Injury?
Heresyourfathersgun replied to Heresyourfathersgun's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Source quoted a former member of the coaching staff -
A topic of discussion on Saturday was that Holty is being nursed over an injury - apparently had a scan during the week before Scunny game. Anyone else heard the same?

QPR v Sheff Utd tonight / FA hearing date
Heresyourfathersgun replied to paul moy's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
As unlikely as a points deduction is, it also allows the authorities the safety net of knowing the points margin they have to play with. Its safe to assume QPR will finish top with a few points to spare, so any deduction would be well within that. I still say it will be a fine at most. -

I am aware the following might discredit me in some eyes but I have just been out for a chat with the carpark chap myself and seen a Silver Mercedes GL420 with the licence plate ''POS 11'' in the carpark!!
