1.
http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/andy-mitten/now-barcelona-113259110.html Have a read of that if your interested (sorry can''t do links on Safari). I understand some people don''t like Barca/or don''t like the probably over the top media reaction they get. But there are reasons behind that reaction. And i''ll try and defend Barcelona because I really enjoy watching them. I''m not a Becelona supporter, i''m a Norwich supporter, but if there is such a thing allowed as a ''second team'' it''d be Barcelona because I enjoy watching them nearly as much as I do Norwich. (With the advantage being, its a lot easier watching them lose than Norwich lose)
Could have fooled me.
2. There is a need for comments such as that as that''s what everyone was saying when they won the Champions League last season, when it is too early to make comments like that. After maybe winning quite a few more Champions Leagues (and domestic titles which they won''t this season) then maybe you could put them up there. But defining one team as the best across generations is stupid as football is totally different now to what it use to be. Barcelona shouldn''t have won the Champions League a few years ago anyway as we all remember the countless amount of penalties they were denied against Barca. So it''s about time things didn''t go Barcelona''s way.
3. Good to see the so called "best team of all time" getting knocked out. Its also good for English football to have a English team in the final again to show the strength of the Premier League.
4. If you knew there was the chance you could miss quite a few games why get an away season ticket? Anyway, priority group 2 is the best. Always get tickets and pick which games you want to go to.
5. I don''t think he got the subs wrong. When he brought on Surman and Hoolahan we looked much better and then obviously Surman the substitute scored. Where the game changed was when Yaya Toure came on and bossed the midfield.
6. He had a quality game, scored a good goal was denied by a very good save from Friedel. Also put tons of quality crosses into the box. That''s why he was playing ;)
7. Their home form has never been much of an issue though, their away form however has been terrible recently.
8. I don''t think the overall standard has dropped, but the quality of defending definitely has. Tons of goals in games involving the big teams this year as they are going for it against each other and everyone else is just playing without fear. In regard to Bilbao beating United I think that''s just mainly down to Man Utd being shocking in Europe this season due to poor defending and inexperienced line ups. Yes, Bilbao were good against them but United made them looking better then they actually are, and you have to question how much many United really wanted to progress in the Europa League. As for Wigan, you are always going to get shock results and teams down the bottom really going for it at this time of the season. This has happened most seasons in the Premier League, for example West Ham beating Man Utd at Old Trafford a few seasons ago.
9. "Holt''s goals have won Norwich 13 points in the Premier League this season" Holt for me
10. Is Ryan Bennett injured? Wasn''t even on the bench against Wigan.
11. To become an established Premier League team and expand our capacity to 35k?
12. QPR Wolves West Brom Want to see Bolton, Blackburn and Wigan stay up as they are local games for me.
13. I''m going for a 2-1 win. Holt with a brace, including a 94th minute winner ;)
14. I used to have the opinion that if you go to more games you''re a so called "better supporter" but that''s changed over time. Now I am at uni I don''t get to as many home game (still managed quite a few though) and still have managed to make it to quite a few away games, (7 this season). Like others have said certain people have their reasons for not having a season ticket or only having a membership. As you have to put other things, such as providing for your family before football. But people who only go to the big games or get a season ticket to watch Premier League football just annoy me. But considering we had 21,000 people renew their season tickets when we were relegated to League One that is only a small percentage of our fan base. And in fact the majority of people on this forum anyway are obviously just as "hard core fans" as each other, as they''re all talking about the same thing. NCFC!
15. Not that good of a player? He''s been incredible for Man Utd in the last few months. Good news for us that he is out.
