1. I think we have the other one Pete starting threads, AHIFB is his user name, just started on on Alan Smith and Tony Mowbray
2. I work for a large retailer and there is a store about a mile away that I can park in, did that half a dozen times last season saves a fortune, although the Wycombe game got a lif to the ground from a member of stafff and took me over an hour to walk back up hill was knackered lol
3. At the end of the day Posh are a business like we are, and will try and squeeze every penny they can out of the deal. You can''t blame them for that and we would want McNally to do exactly the same if the positions were reveresed. It would be funny to see the reverse posts saying "we must hold out for £3m, £2.5m is a joke" etc etc if a prem club was coming in for Holt or Wes He will be a city player by the weekend.
4. He''s probably the best out of the ones above but he''s not playing as well as Wes
5. How is Hoolahan not in the Republic squad, i''m not complaining coz I''d rather he just play for us but trappatoni aint got a scooby. When the likes of: Stephen Kelly (Fulham), Darren O''Dea (Celtic), Kevin Kilbane (Huddersfield); Marc Wilson (Stoke), Darron Gibson (Man Utd), Glenn Whelan (Stoke), Paul Green (Derby), Liam Lawrence (Portsmouth), James McCarthy (Wigan), Aiden McGeady (Spartak Moscow), Keith Treacy (Preston), Keith Andrews (Blackburn), Keith Fahey are in the squad How are any of them better than Wes or in better form????
6. Yes you are alone. Martin not good enough (dont even think he is injured) Johnson not good enough, Jackson had an excellent game last night worked really hard but lacks composure in front of goal, Wilbraham pretty much the same as Jackson. We need another striker, if Holt got injured or suspended we would be in trouble.
7.
We have been dubed!
We''ve been what??? lol
8. If we go up the cost of casual seats will go up to between £35 and £50 depending on the team, because that is the market rate. My god I can see the threads now bitching about it now. End of the day, can''t afford it don''t go!
9. Don''t rate Sharp at all, Maynard is a great shout and so is Long.  Taarabt is so petualnt and I think Wes is better.  Also Snodgrass and Howson are cracking players.
10. why does singing for 90 mins make people better fans than others. We have some of the worst songs in the entire league, when we sing always shit on the old blue and white when we are playing a team like hull or barnsley, it makes me cringe, and you can bet withing 20 seconds of the attendance being read out "whats it like to see a crows will be sung" Now I am quite vocal and I sit in the N&P and for those of you that sit in the Barclay and Snake Pit, sometimes we can harldy hear you at our end. The comemnts about children and the old are spot on they wont make as much noise, but on the flip side the team has to do something to get the crowd going, it is much easier to get a good song going if the team are playing well or if there has been incidents and fights and saves, the last couple of homes games have been so boring i can understand the crowd being quiet. I don''t agree with the booing and it winds me up when fans moan and boo when we play keep ball and pass it around the back when we are winning. Everybody wants the same thing norwich to be sucessful and all these threads regarding booing and singing are getting sill now.
11. The web page has changed and is now www.justgiving.com/Paul-Handscombe1 Thanks
12. It will be done by ballot and we normally get around 3,00 tickets. All away season ticket holders and people who have 10 away stubs in the last year will get tickets the rest will go to a ballot and it''s pot luck. I got one 2 years ago but last year didn''t for the Colchester or Charlton game (although i got in a Charlton in the home fans end and nearly got kicked out as I was celebrating promotion at the end lol)
13. well dispite chops i''m alreadu over 25% of the way to my target with over 2 months to go which is amazing.
14.
no ones is talking about Burnley if they win the 2 games in hand will be within a point of us and a equal if not better goal difference the run is not that bad on paper although having to play 5 of the top 8 teams so i would not rule them out yet as well .......
No they wouldn''t they would be 3 points behind us, we have 59 and they have 50 with 2 games in hand
15. fair enough but i dont think i slagged off everyone, just a few people blowing things out of proportion, but thats fine.
16. It’s that time of year again  I am participating in the walk for skin again at the end of May in London with a walk along the Thames. I am again raising for the Ichthyosis Support Group (the rare condition that the kids and I suffer) and the British Skin Foundation. Last year with your generosity, I managed to raise £960 and would love to break £1,000 this year. To sponsor me through my just giving page www.justgiving.com/Paul-Handscombe0 Many thanks in advance
17. The 5 mins for me makes the differnece between getting out of the city in 5 minutes ro sitting in traffic for an hours and as i got into work at 7am to leave early to get to the game from romford I would like to get back and not sit in traffic. And anyway it''s my money my prerogative when i choose to leave.
18. and what is wrong with that, people that say the barclay and snake pit just sing is also a myth, the N&P try their best, but as another poster has said there are losts of older people and young kids there. The game was dire after about 10 minutes until about the 75th then the team improved and the noise level went up. I went to the West Ham v Forset game on sunday and the atmosphere there in a 30,000 capacity was about the same as ours a few renditions of bubbles and our crowd is better than 90% of crowds i''ve seen.
19. at the end of the day, so what?? and as people have rightly said the team need to give you something to get excited about for the large proportion of the game we were crap last night
20. our are pretty much the same except for barnett who was pants last night his distribution was awful and he got lost in no mans land for the goal and should have stayed with the guy in the middle as tierney was getting back for the winger.
21. Ruddy - 7 solid, couldn''t do much with the goal. Martin - 6 worst game for a while, better second half. Ward - 7 decent enough after being out for a while and took his goal well Barnett - 5 worst game for us, his fault for the goal and passing was bad. Tierney - 6 look ok, long throw was a bit naff Crofts - 8 had a good game worked hard and was isolated in midfield. Lappin - 7 if only he could hit the target Lansbury - 7.5 took the goal and free kick well, didnt do a great deal else. Fox 7 - again solid enough without setting the world alight Jackson - 7 worked his nuts off (which is more than Martin C does) given a run of games will do ok. Holt 7 - bit in and out work rate topr drawer as usual Hoolahan - 6 didnt do much when he came on Mcnamme - 6 again didnt do a great deal, didnt get a lot of the ball Wilbraham - 7 held up the ball well and bought in players what i would say is that we were very lucky and Lambert got the tactis wrong by taking off Lappin and Fox as we lost the midfield and had no one to win the ball except crofts as the other 3 (lansbury, hoolahan and mcnamee) arent ball winners.
