1.
Home after a great few days. Bratislava and Graz are beautiful cities with plenty to do, well worth seeing. Gleisdorf was tiny, maybe the size of Wymondham so maybe wasn''t worth staying over night but was OK for a day. Also met Budapest Canary and his young lad...
Obviously, didn''t make the game, just a tad too far for me. Can you give us some idea of how many NCFC supporters witnessed CH''s first game in charge and what you thought of the two squads in each half on the day. Who performed who struggled etc? Cheers
2. Unfortunately, looks like Lukaku is going to join Fulham on loan. Pity, would have loved to have seen him join us for the year. Oh well, onward and upward.
3. Welcome to the nuthouse Greavsy. I too can''t wait for the season I reckon it''s going to be a good one.
4. I was surfing the net over the weekend and found two bits of information pertaining to the Snodgrass situation. Both the communications where on Saturday 21/7/12, one at about 1pm and the other at about 5.10pm both confirming that that a 2.5m bid for Snoddy was accepted by Leeds but the deal will not be ratified until he meets with Hughton when they return from Austria so he can agree personal terms. Also that apparanetly Crofts will not be part of the deal. Just wondering whether there could possibly be something to this. Warnock was very forthright and on the front foot almost immediately telling all and sundry how they had knocked back our inital offer. However, the silence has been deafening since our improved bid last Friday. Just thinking that this could be happening!!!
5. I actually think that we will be hovering around the mid-table area again like last year. I have been quite happy with the activity so far this off-season (would like Snoddy brought in). I am also not concerned with the fact (particularly if we get Snoddy) that we have too many midfielders. I think with the acquisition of Snoddy our midfield would certainly be one of the most unheralded but effective as I believe there would be quality across all positions. I would however like a PL experienced CB and another pacy forward added to the squad before the Fulham game.
6. 100% agree Indy, we should be in there making a bid today.
7. Goss vs Bayern definetly. Dale Gordon''s winner against Man Utd at Carrow Rd in 1992 (might even have been in the FA Cup) Paul Gascoigne''s Tottenham vs Arsenal FA Cup semi-final at Wembley when he scored the free kick from about 40 metres out just in from the left side touch line, curled it into the right hand side top corner. In my mind, still one of the best FA Cup goals ever. Honourable mention - Robins vs Man Utd, Jackson''s at Pompey and any of the goals in the 9-1 aggregate victories over the Binners.
8. See statement made on Football rumours last night  18 Jul 2012 09:29:32Norwich have a bid accepted by Leeds for Robert snodgrass believed to be £4m + add ons also Andrew crofts will go to Leeds. Let''s hope this is true as I think it would be a win win for everybody involved. Think Crofts would be good for them.
9. Haven''t seen much of him but he sure looked great against us last year.
10.
On ridiculous wages, lazy player, wouldn''t fit in and IMO a wasted talent who could have been very good if he tried harder
What a lot of rubbish. He is a class player. Anyway, looks like he may be heading to Turkey for a value of 5m. Gee, throw in 2m in wages, even we could afford that, yes, even little ol'' Norwich. Anyway won''t happen but just as well as it might have stopped us bidding for Rhodes someone with a great League 1 scoring record. Hey what about experience in the PL. Don''t worry about that, he is young. Rant over.
11. Just wondering what anybody else thought about Berbatov as a possible transfer target. Imaginea Holt/Morison/Berbatov strike force with competition from Vaughan & Jackson. Wages might be a tad high but what a coupbthisbwould be. Very happy with CH''s signings so far and happy with the Snoddy speculation but all players have been midfield or defenders. Just feel that we need an additonal striking option. Your thoughts
12.
Banana why do you even bother to make up such crap?
Bit rich coming from you BW. Your a serial bullsh!tter.
13. Are we running a book on the announcements. Three pints he stays
14. Just got off the phone from a Rangers mate of mine who told me that he thought we''d picked up a really good player in Whittaker. He said he will do a job for us and plays anywhere across the back. I feel better now as my mate is a good lad and always gives me the inside scoop about Rangers players.
15. Just wondering if anybody has heard what is happening with the compensation that should be payable to us from Villa. I certainly haven''t read anything from over here and just wondered whether there was anything extra to report as it seems to have gone quite. Does that mean that we have accepted the fact that we will get nothing in return or is it heading to mediation?????
16. Now this would be a great signing if we pull it off.
17. Yes, I saw that as well. I don''t know anything about him but what I have read he seems like to good signing. So - Hooray!!!!!!
18. I havent seen anything that would suggest that we have excepted the Wet Spam offer for Holt. So, until that time I will choose to put my hands over my ears and mutter  "na na na na na". However, if we do end up accepting the Wet Spam deal it better not be in the form that it is reported which top-up''s after appearances. I would be majorly disappointed if we coped that cr@p.
19. I agree Cantiaci. Who would we look at? You would need someone capable, a hit the ground running experienced striker. Berbatov???? With Rhodes he''s young but untested. Maybe CH has a few more than us, here''s hoping!!!!!
20. Agree Kingston. If the deal is a serious one it should be 6m with a top-up of another 1m if he makes an England appearance.
21. A plan for the coming season????? An egg? I reckon he took his portable DVD player poolside and watched every game of ours last year whilst sipping on margaritas. Out of that he has formulated his wishlist and strategy to keep Grant Holt happy.
22. The Sun is reporting that Big Sam has upped his offer to 5.5m to test our resolve. Link below http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4382874/Grant-Holt-transfer-West-Ham-increased-bid-to-55million-for-Norwich-ace.html Apparently the deal starts at 3.5m goes up by £2m on appearances. I would tell Wet Spam that he''s not for sale for anything less than  6m and its 6m up front . Take it or leave it.
23. I could also see it happening not this season though. I think that if it did happen, they could relegate four bottom teams that year and allow Celtic in. I think we need to think of how much they would bring to the EPL, great fans and great stadium to visit.
24. Support the team to the hilt and I back LDC''s overall strategy
