  1. Full marks for observation Lord Horn. And there was me scratching my head in a quandry desperately wondering what league they are in... My point - we were in a league above when the deal was put in place.
  2. What does everyone feel about the missed signing of Frecklington? Us and POSH came in for him in February but cos we couldn''t stump up the £200,000 transfer fee he, against his will, moved to the dark side. It really is worrying times when Peterborough United are outbidding us for quality players. Seen a lot of this lad and he is just the type of player we need. Central midfielder who makes intelligent runs and is great on the ball.
  3. Anyone playing second fiddle to Casper Ankergren is not worth the time of day.
  4. Wes is obviously a moody beggar but if we get someone in to put an arm round his shoulder hopefully we can convince him to stay. I admit keeping Shacks is optimistic but Doc will be solid in League 1. McDonald will cause loads of problems next year from what I saw last night so we just need a could target man alongside him...
  5. Now are fate is all-but sealed who do you think we should try and keep/axe for next season. Personally I think the main people we need to KEEP are... MARSHALL DOHERTY SHACKELL CLINGAN CROFT HOOLAHAN LAPPIN Everyone else, including Gunn, I am not bothered about... I will actually pay for Dave Carney''s flight back to Aus - he was embarrassing last night. Managerial prefernces as well?? - Steve Tilson for me.
  6. Wizard - you bore me 6088m canary - Don''t compare Alan ''I can run 100m in two years'' Lee to Iwan Roberts
  7. This is laughable. Why are we constantly bringing in this filth? Where is this club I was once obsessed with going? It speaks volumes that we are getting outbid by clubs like Peterborough for players (Lee Frecklington) and we now have to resort to uninspiring dross like Alan Lee. Bring back David Nielson all is forgiven.
  8. Tom, my formula is simple. If we lose tomorrow we are down. Back-to-back away games before we host a very good Cardiff side fills me with absolutely no confidence.
  9. For what is undoubtedly City''s biggest game since May 15 2005 would it be inappropriate to suggest a stadium full of yellow and green tomorrow afternoon? minus the travelling Sky Blue of course. Be a good chance for everyone to show off their colours, old and new, hopefully the sun will be shining and we can snatch what will be three massive points...
  10. Viva Marc Libbra, Viva Marc Libbra, In the tune of Viva Las Vegas... Where is that bleach blonde assassin nowadays? Bring him back I say...
  11. Can''t cross or no1 to cross to? If I had Cureton and Russell in the middle I don''t think i''d bother crossing either. Who put the ball on Grounds head on Friday night????
  12. but then I thought Matty Patty, brought a new dimension to our play on the left hand side.??????I am genuinely concerned about that substitution last night, infact, when it happened I turned to my brother and said ''if he isn''t injured that is the most inept tactical decision i''ve ever see''.We bossed the start of the second half, got our goal, and was convinced we were going to go on and win. However, Gunn stepped in, brought off Wes and from then on we showed no ambition to go for the win.Pattison touched the ball twice and failed to track back leaving Bertrand exposed on the left time after time and we nearly conceded.I know a point was a decent result but can''t help but feeling all three were there for the taking.
  13. Jim, why do you continually overlook Erik Fuglestad from the starting XI?! He gives us natural width, and with him working in tandem with Adrian Forbes we can cause genuine carnage down the right... Discuss...
  14.                                  Gunn   Fuglestad         Mackay    Fleming    L.Marshall   Forbes           Anselin       Mulryne        Llewellyn                         Roberts       Libbra   Subs: Nielsen, Nedergaard, Emblem, Coote, Yves de Blasiis.
  15. I work for Sky and can assure you it is not on Tv. See you at the Keepmoat!
  16. Anyone have any idea how to get to the Keepmoat from the train station? Are there any pubs near the new ground?   Viva Marc Libbra
  17. You do know that the MK Dons chairman is Peter Winkleman? - a man who knows absolutely nothing about football
  18. Huddy, why don''t we bring in Ian Marshall and Marcus Gayle as well to complete the party? Ridiculous post!
  19. What miserable news. I would rather have Rickie Lambert...
  20. Thanks Jay Kay. I look forward to tucking into a few pre-match ales whilst watching Wolves v Birmingham with envy... "Viva Marc Libbra"
  21. Certainly not a sheep. Seems to me half the people on here seem to think we are relegated already. Daft thing is, if we beat Wednesday then the scum at home (both very winnable) we will be in mid-table. And boycotting an away game? Ridiculous.
  22. Wake up call or not. I''ve supported City all my life and win or lose i''ll have a good day out.
