    Best Derby Day memories

We''re hoping to use fans'' best moments as part of our Derby Day pre-coverage in Saturday''s Evening News and then in the Pink ''Un too.

Part of the excitment of a Derby Day is all the banter in the run-up to the match itself - have you guys seen what the Ipswich fans have been doing? They''re planning a relegation party in Norwich if we go down to Division One. Grrrrr!

    20th anniversary of Hillsborough

It''s the 20th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster next Wednesday and we''re planning to run a feature about what happened on that tragic day.

As the tragedy unfolded Norwich were playing Everton in the other FA Cup semi-final.

We''d also really like to hear from Norwich fans or Liverpool fans who live in Norwich about their memories and experiences of the day.

If you''d like to share your memories you can contact me on 01603 772419 or email me at kim.briscoe@archant.co.uk, (please include your name and address and a contact number).

    Kind regards,

    Kim Briscoe.

  4. Let''s get behind the Canaries and help pull them clear of relegation.

That''s the rallying cry today as the Evening News launches a campaign to urge readers to do their bit to help Norwich City Football Club stave off the dreaded drop.

  5. BlyBlyBabes,

    Thanks for the suggestion.

We have interviewed Peter Cullum on a number of occasions - one of the most recent times was following the dismissal of Glenn Roeder, in which he made it clear he would not be investing in the Canaries given the current economic situation. If we get wind that that''s about to change then you can be sure I''ll be doing all I can to get the story the first!

  6.

    Morning,

There''s a couple of news stories about the Canaries on our site today - just thought I''d flag them up in case anyone was interested.

    Best ever Norwich City chants?

I''m mulling over doing a story about this new competition to find the best footie chants and if it all goes to plan I''d love to have a bit on favourite City chants from over the years.

It would be great if some of you could post your favourites here to help me out in compiling them - tho please keep em clean (so that''ll probably rule out any of the ones about Ipswich!).

    The more inventive, the better.

  8. We''ve done a tribute piece to Arrdee in the Evening News and have spoken to his family.

Some posters have requested a link to the story:

  9. Afternoon - thought this might be of interest:

He may only be 10-years-old but young Josh Clancy is already a rising footie star for the future.
The football-mad youngster can do 4,000 keepy-uppies and is on his way to winning a national freestyle competition.
And he could also provide hope of a brighter future for Norwich City fans - as he trains with the club''s Academy.

There''s a video of him on the web too.........

  10. Morning,

Thought you might be interested to read about this one:

A Norwich City fan who suffered a heart attack and collapsed before a match has been given the chance to thank the stewards and paramedics who helped save his life after being reunited with them.

Ian Miller, 61, from Pulham St Mary, was on his way to watch Norwich take on Birmingham at Carrow Road in August when he was taken ill.

The City fan collapsed at turnstile 49-50 of the Jarrold Stand as he attempted to get into the ground to take his seat for the Championship game.
