Rays funds for FONCY with the Pink un Pickers
scrimmage replied to nutty nigel's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I don''t think I''ve picked this week [:(] if I haven''t, I''ll have to go for Man U to beat Villa tomorrow. -
Grant Holt grabbed his 25th goal of the season as Norwich saw off a spirited Oldham side to extend their lead at the top of League One lead to five points. The hosts belied their lowly status, with both Dale Stephens and Reuben Hazell went close to scoring early on. Holt wasting a good chance to put the Canaries ahead from Wes Hoolahan''s cross and also sent a headed just wide. But he won the points when he stretched to get score at the far post after some fine wing play by Anthony McNamee. BBC is crap.

wouldn''t have thought so.

Nah not Spillane, everything we''ve seen and heard of Wiggins suggests he''s a quality player, bring him back and put him in. Thought Rose had a good game v Hartlepool but since then has deteriorated.

Its ok people, the lucky glove is on. Wycombe, Colchester, Stockport, Southampton and Brighton (all away) when I put on this one glove and my mum pops on the other one, we score. We don''t necessarily win but we do score!!
If that fails I will be going for my lucky loo break which usually produces a goal.
To add to this, when I go to pick up my dad from work and miss the last 15 minutes we also tend to turn the game on it''s head and win. -

Noo why are the crowd booing that''s not going to help is it. I''m confident we can come back and hammer them in the second half but if they just try to shut us out it could be hard. -

Oh come on! What is wrong with us we were all over them?!?! We have to make our chances count like we did in the first half of the season. -
the division is occupied by teams who aren''t a great deal better than many teams in the Ridgeons League Premier division, no seriously the aren''t.
Ok...I know a few of the teams are more than poor but saying "no seriously the aren''t" when it''s clearly untrue just makes you look like an idiot. You''ve got any of the top ten who have fairly good sides with the likes of Leeds, Charlton, Southampton, Colchester, Swindon and Millwall who are very good teams. Normally when you get relegated there are a few teams in the league below you who do not get relegated who are still better sides than the relegated side...if you know what I mean. It''s not often that a team who is relegated goes staright back up as champions (obviously we aren''t yet but despite yesterday''s result we''re still on track in my opinion). Leicester did it last season but Mandaric had to spend something like £14m to keep all their players and sin the ones to help them go straight back up, we''ve spent nothing like that amount obviously as we could never afford it.
Look it is as simple as this, if we don’t get promotion this season we are up Sh*te creek without a paddle, the team and the club is most likely to fall apart, it is absolutely essential that we gain promotion
Again, not true. McNally and the board have set out a 7 year plan to get us back to the premier league as a consistent team. This allows for two years to get us out of League One, therefore if they have set out this plan, it''s obvious we are able to sustain ourselves in this league.

I don''t like being fair to him, but to be fair to him we bought him off the bck of a golden boot winning season, who was to know he would be so gash? Good luck wherever you go from here. -

I''m early this week so I''ve got a bit of time to think about it. Usually I pick out of the Blue Square Prem simply because that''s where I watch most of my football, so this week will be no different even though Histon let me down last week. This week I''m going for AFC Wimbledon to beat Cambridge United. Cambridge have lost their last 6 league games and haven''t even picked up a point since the 5th of December. AFC are teetering around the playoffs and I fancy them to make a push for them in the final weeks of the season.Good luck Pboro [;)] -
Still, we''ll finish on 111 points and runaway champions.
For the second millwall goal the guy who took the cross tapped the ball with his hand before he kicked it, surely this shouldnt have been allowed because technically its handball surely??
Also surely, play doesn''t start until the ball is kicked...

I''ve got it, quality shirt looks great. Not as good quality as the flybe kits but still nice.

Supposedly hit on the head with a bin. How could that be accidental? Sad though, especially as it was another blackburn fan. RIP.

I went for Man Utd before it vanished but now everyone else seems to be going for the easy pick [;)] so I''ll go for Histon v Hayes and Yeading - HOME WIN.
