1.
I''m not a fan of Delia and would happily see Peter Cullum come in, however sticking in 2 mill at short notice to bail us out of the mess the Turners left behind should be given the credit it deserves. In modern football terms they''re not particularly rich and whilst that stops us competing in the transfer market I believe they generally would give all they could to save us from the most dire of consequences. If Cullum comes in and I hope he does, I hope that DS and MWJ get back what they deserve.
Get real, this is an old trick, before selling up put more in to the club convert the money to shares, then when it comes to a sale that £2 million could make them another quick million on top
 2. Just had a nasty thought, that now means we are going to hear loads about their commitment to the club, how they have used their personal wealth, and how they will have to live off beans on toast for months. Plus don''t forget how we are all going to have to feel nothing but love and admiration for the saviours of our club..............................Forever
 3.
front page news of EDP too "exclusive" apparently
Radio Broadland and the EDP so it must be..........................................................Bull
 4.
On the official site - quoting the EDP http://www.canaries.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetails/0,,10355~1384016,00.html (anybody seen the EDP yet - the thumbnail on the EDP website shows a headline of "Cullum in Takeover Talks".
Oh great! thats really ruined my day and its only 7.40am. No chance of her going or a total takeover, this means another £2 million of share conversions then. What do we have to do to get rid of this power crazed, jumped up cook.
 5.
isnt there a points deduction thingy for Administration???  leeds and Luton 15 and 30 points there????
On the plus side you only have to give the milkman 5p for every £1 you owe him
 6.

I think this is total rubbish and the standard "Just passing on details of our conversation" makes me think you are making this all up.
No I am not! and if you think this is utter rubbish and garbage...fine. Tell that to my work colleague, who told me
do you have his email  address ?
Here you go Jack_A_Nory@bullsh*t.com
 7.
could this be a possibility? i just saw on sky sports news that munby is denying this will happen. im a bit ignorant regarding the financial implications of the turners leaving but i sure hope this doesnt happen.
More chance of  Jamie Cureton scoring a hatrick, than us going in to administration
 8. I was just going through todays NewsNow Norwich City site and today alone are two stories about plays who may well stay after their loans are up if given the chance. Lupoli says if he plays well enough and Norwich do well he would consider staying Sibs said working with Glenn Roeder was a deciding factor in coming here on loan, the chance to work with Glenn again was to good to miss. Kennedy in a story  two days ago said he might well stay here because he likes it so much (and this guy is Celtic through & through) Bertie came back Ched loved it here and would have come back if Man City hadn''t decided to use him this season Gibbs asked Arsenal for permission to come back to Norwich to be with the team for our final game of last season Do I need to carry on with reasons why what you said is crap So,  to sum up, Roeder must be a real Ba**a*d to work for.
 9. If  P.C. needs shares to get rid of her indoors he can have mine for nothing
 10. I just spoke to my bank manager and asked him for £45 million to buy the club and the s**t said no, bank that likes to say yes my bum
12. Another reason our owner doesn''t sell bombs and guns. And the council doesn''t own our ground.
 13.

So do we all think the £56mill price tag is a realistic one?  And if not what would you think would be a fair price tag?
What do you think WAY? I don''t believe anyone has valued the club at 56m. The loans can''t be argued with and the only room for negotiation is the shares. I think the club valued the unissued shares at £30 but whether that''s what people would accept for their shares is a different matter. What would you accept for yours if you had a significant investment in the club?
The club stated itself that they wanted £56mill it''s not a figure I plucked from the air lol Anyhow,  I don''t think the £56mill is a reasonable price tag, I think personally it''s pie in the sky and wishful thinking.  I think £40mill would be fair, but that''s just IMO. If I had lots of shares I would accept what I paid for them providing big investment would be made back into the club.
I think you just bought yourself a Football Club WAY, but you paid a few million over the odds[:O] The clubs valuation was repayment of loans £20m (possibly a bit more now ) and purchase of shares, £30 each based on the current price of the unissued shares, 16m. So that''s less than 40m. As for accepting what you paid for the shares, many shareholders probably paid a lot less for their shares than what they are worth now. If a shareholder bought 25 shares for £1 over 40 years ago that £25 could have been a months wages. what would be a fair price for their shares?
It''s is over the odds, but a lot less than £56mill.  The club put the figures on their website, that''s what they wanted to buy the club outright, or did I read their statment wrong?  Anyhow I answered and you answered with yet another question.  So back to my original point??? I wouldn''t know about shares bought 40 years ago as I was still a baby lol. Sometimes in life you have to do what''s right for the good of the whole and not the singular.  If I had bought shares for £20 I would expect £20 per share back, and if they offered more, all well and good.
Sorry WAY49 I did didn''t I! I don''t think the club is worth 56m and as another poster pointed out that included 20m for Glen Roeder to spend on players. You asked for my valuation and it''s difficult to call. Obviously existing loans have to be paid off so thats 20.5m that we know of. But what value do we put on the shares? And that''s why I asked the question about what the shares are worth. I have 25 shares which my dad orinally paid £1 each for. That was my point about £25 being worth a lot more over 40 years ago. But it''s a real minority holding and it was never an investment to make money, just an investment commitment to the Football Club. So selling them on at £1 each if it was to help the club would be no sacrifice except that I would hate not owning that little bit of the club I love. But if I sell mine for £1 each does that mean everybody else has to? Even if they paid more for them? Or will each individual shareholder be able to sell for the price they paid? That would seriously pee me off if someone else with a similar holding to me got a few hundred quid because they bought their shares a few years ago. And then what about if Smith and Jones decide to sell their shares for £10 each so long as the buyer invests in the team. How would that be fair to other large shareholders if they end up out of pocket? So it''s difficult to know. But when the board negotiate a price I would imagine they have a duty to consider the interests of all their shareholders and not just Smith & Jones.
Isn''t it nice to debate and not let it turn into a slanging match? lol ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh what a pleasant change[:)] Who asked you to stick your nose in, now bugger off[:P]
14. Leave a big hole in the fans hearts.............Yeh right, what a load of horse feathers
 15. If he sells all our playing assets or leaves us close to administration then yes he will get the same treatment, Owners of football clubs are custodians only, and if they can''t run the club correctly then we have a right to treat them how we wish, even if that means hounding them out.
 16. It seems that one is carrying a quote from 8.20 this morning, the other a revised quote at 11.51 am a change of heart from P.C. or first is from his media office towing the party line, P.C comes in and tells them a new party line.
 17.
According to the EDP who at the end of the day are all in this for journalistic reasons and will blow this situation WAY out of proportion... I for one hope they are very correct in what they are saying and Cullum is indeed once again interested...
I would think he is interested for a number of reasons, but the main one being the fact that he is in a far more powerful position now than he was a few weeks ago. Previously he wanted the club, now it would seem the club need him. Football  clubs in the main are a buyers market, not a sellers market, with the exception of some high end clubs. Delia is not a silly as we think, we are in possible difficulty, if things go very wrong the shares are worth very little, not the £30 she quoted. And when all is said and done he is a Norwich supporter with money to burn, if I had a 10th of his wealth I would want it, who wouldn''t?
 18. I really can''t see that the situation we are in is a real problem. It now looks like we are going to be in with a real chance of getting what we want, Peter Cullum buying the club. Weeks ago most of us were getting stressed, and spitting our dummies out, because Delia wouldn''t sell or deal with P.C. Now it looks like her hand has been forced, and she will have to deal. P.C. has said come and get me! This could be the biggest deal our club has ever done, I am really looking forward to the next few days, and heralding a new dawn in our clubs history. Come January we could make the scums budget look like Diss Towns budget. Come on P.C., Come on Smithy get your heads together, strike a deal, and make Norwich City the successful club it, and the fans deserves to be.
 19.
Nope.[:(]
I would, and I think considering a season ticket at Cambridge Utd can cost more than at Carrow Road it would be a small price to pay if it meant success on the pitch.
 20.
I was just making a point on how many clubs say that, i am a worried fan thats all. and would hate to see it happen!!!!!!!!!! so SHHHHHHHHHH
Sorry, I thought you were doing a Smudger[:$]
 21. I think we should all go out and buy a Euro Millions ticket this week, you never know............it could be you[ip]
 22.
When we pulled out of the reserves league we were told it was because the standard of opposition wasn''t good enough and yet instead we are playing games against non-league teams from Lowestoft. Was pulling out of the league the first step to doing a Newcastle and getting rid of our reserve team altogether, would certainly save some cash.
And we are playing the unheard of Arsenal reserves soon
