1. Sottym meant Martin not Brown!!! Where the feck did I get Brown from?
2. It''s not out of order, Lappin is crap, as is Pattison, Brown & Cureton, I don''t think any of them will be in the 1st 11 anyway so they should get used to the idea of not playing too much!
3.

This post has been up since Midday with the name of the Pompey Player......Danijel Subotic http://www.pinkun.com/cs/forums/1332813/ShowPost.aspx Anyone can now claim to have inside knowledge!
This new lad is claiming that its someone who has yet to sign for Pompey.  I''ll at least give him the chance before writing him off since he is a relative newbie.  Then, if he fails to back up his claims or follow up on them, I''ll write him off as a binner....[:P]
He''s mixing things up with Subotic....c''mon, part of his username refers to James Bond.....secret agent.....secret sweet muncher more like. Def'' Binner [Y]
4.                                         Ameobi     Lupoli              Hoolahan       Fotheringham     Clingan        Bell             Bertrand       Kennedy      Stefanovic      Omozusi                                           Marshall. I''m obviously relying on a striker that we don''t yet have, but whoever we get, Ameobi,Rasiak,Howard would automatically get in my 4-4-2 with Cureton as sub, or preferably sell him. Sorry to those who like him but I think he''s had more than enough time to prove himself, he does talk well but how many times can a striker be forgiven for missing the preverbial barn door?
5. He scored his 1st pro'' goal against NCFC, chances he will score his last for us.......zero Absolute bo**ocks
6. Come on Cal, we''re ( us ) all hardened fans ( most anyway ) but you have to admit tonight was pretty shocking. Do you not think that tonight was a clear example of a team that desperatly needs to re-evaluate its attacking options?
7. dhickl, you will not hear chants for our current boards heads yet as the vast majority of City fans live from match to match, closed season transfers and take-over talk are discussed between very few supporters ( relatively ) at this time of year and an awful lot of ''the crowd'' are there for a days entertainment whilst in ignorant bliss of the clubs politics. City-til-I-die has every right to voice his opinion, as do you, however when you refer to the ''voice of the crowd'' I would suggest you also listen to the ''voice of the forums'' where people tend to vent frustrations that are often more relevant to the clubs political situation than what is or isn''t chanted on the terraces.
8. Delia''s Devon.....you missed my point entirely, if you are unable to understand my suggestion then I presume you are unable to understand football.
9. Humpty Dumpty fell off the wall Humpty Dumpty had a great fall With all the kings horses and all the new strikers We''ll put up your @rse some real big frighteners! [:P]
10. STRIKERS, strikers and more strikers, we need players that can threaten teams otherwise we''re gonna be celebrating goaless draws
11. yep, the last post couldn''t be answerd for some reason so I bumped it....
12. Let''s face it, tonight was shocking, putting the first 25 mins aside we played pretty much the same game that nearly got us relegated last season. Amateur mistakes, lack of understanding and poor link-up play can all be excused for various reasons, this was after all our 1st testing game and players are not yet familiar with each other and some, namely Pattison, looked about as fit as my grandfather. My problem however with tonights performance is the lack of effort. I''m not going to start blasting the whole team, this was after all a friendly against a serious premier team, arguably a top six Premier team, but one thing tonight was clear to me... if we can''t attack we will get ripped apart week in and week out, not just in the FA Cup against Prem teams but every other week by the likes of Birmingham, Palace and even Blackpool. Norwich City must have strikers that threaten defences, we must have a team sheet that says to the opposition:- we''re gonna have to defend well today boys or else these guys are gonna put 6 past us. We currently have strikers that are tame, lacking in ability, lacking in talent, lacking in pretty much everything that puts fear into an opposition defence. Our opponents know the threat is minimal, they are able to play any system they choose knowing that as long as they play sensibly they can prevent us from scoring, with their defense secure and confident their route to attack is open, and last year that was proved far too often. We need at least 2 serious striker signings, Lupoli may prove to be some good business and I believe that, but Cureton? At best he should become a ''super sub'' although I personally would never put the words ''super'' and ''Cureton'' together. As I have said in some previous posts, the next 5 months are do or die for the current regime, we need a serious strike force at Carrow Road, and by god, we need them NOW.
13. V good triple stars, bring it on!
14. A present for Evil http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter.com/full_article.asp?i=3797
15.
Big and strapping does not really fit Rasiak he''s more beanpole . It will turn out to be Howard i suspect .
Pleaaaaaaseee NO [:''(]
16.

A good post Salopian apart from your bloody obvious dislike of our top scorer Jamie C, have you seen his two goals in the Swedish games yet, especially his second! As far as Cureton is concerned, thankfully, GR is the manager................not you!.
That''s why GR has bougt in Lupoli who''s similar to Cureton and has expressed an interest in Mifsud (although unlikely to get him now). To me that says GR thinks Cureton isn''t good enough. Did you see some of the sitters he missed last season!? Personally I wouldn''t mind seeing Rasiak here, please please not Steve Howard...
Second that, how long will Cureton get the chance to shine...not long I hope if he keeps missing, Lupoli could prove to be a great bit of business ( had to say that as my wife is Italian ) Rasiak would be awesome.
17. Just read it, does seem a bit strange to make a comment like this without knowing something, possibly Rasiak? Hope so
18. Disagree Wiz, surely our target is to be in contention by Christmas, new transfer window then opens in which GR has already impressed us with his ability to bring in key players when needed. An 80% fit Kennedy would be an enomous improvement on last year IMHO.
19. I''m watching it at The Cown, 174 Richmond Rd East Twickenham if anyone is at a loose end...we''ve got some Spurs boys coming so will be good fun.
20.

and moist away games
Hull?
With the wife?
21.
Not too bothered myself, as long as we don''t pick up any injuries I''m happy.
Ditto, hopefully some entertainment but as long as no-one gets injured.
22. Fantastic optimism Jordi, I think we''ll get close this year and maybe, just maybe we''ll scrape it. PS I think you''ll find GR is a Championship manager...unless I missed something from the FA board of unexpected promotion! [:D]
23.
Below is a true story. It happened and it says everything about GR and why he might just be our Cloughie. Thats not a phrase I use lightly. Read on; ''The Academy staff sat silently as GR flicked through a huge document. The document was huge because it outlined the NCFC policy for recruiting young players for the academy. It listed what staff could and could not do in the persuit of young talent. GR tore the document into two pieces. "Forget this s**t, just get me some F**cking players." '' Costa del Colney is crumbling my friends. A wind of change is blowing through our beloved club. It might be a little bit Geordie but it blows hard. It blew away some shocking excuses for footballers last season. It blew us Holahan, Bell, and Lupoli. It might even blow Chrissy Martin into a player again. My point being that any academy player who pulls on a NCFC shirt will no longer think '' Ive made it'' They will now think '' I can make it.'' Cloughie made his players cry, he made them walk home from matches and he treated those who wre unsuccessful with coldhearted distain. I''m surely not alone in seeing many paralells between cloughie and GR. Obviously GR is a couple of European Cup wins short but who knows...............................
Sounds like the sort of thing GR would do, good on him, we need someone with ''larger than average footballs'' to sort our club out, I just hope he gets the next three years of free reign to put his method into practice.....Rome wasn''t built.................
24.

Ameobi  has been agreed including personal terms ( will be last to be made public ) GR has 1st refusal on Rasiak & other ( from Prem) Goalkeeper signing ''on hold'' for the time being although back up loan has been verbally agreed if needed. [;)]
And you have got this info from????
Just a guess
