1. This is one of the few rumours I like the look of, good age and scored a few goals in a half decent league. If he arrived with some confidence then we could have a good unknown quantity on our books.
2. I just saw him in William Hill on city road doing his b*llocks on the roulette machine, could be a go-er!
3. Players can go on loan after the deadline so Rudd or Steer could end up at a club that hasn''t managed to buy their first choice target. Same applies to players like Chris Martin, Korey Smith, George Francomb and Simon Lappin.
4. I thought he done ok but not great, as many have said he started slow and Barcham caused him problems until he got a knock and slowed down a bit. He grew into the game though and the experience will help him. I think he needs regular Championship football before we start thinking about him pushing R.Martin for a starting place. Personally I thought Wes, Fox and maybe Surman were better shouts for MOM, but George done ok.
5. Said the transfer discussions started 3 weeks ago and that he knows the ''undisclosed'' fee. Also said he plans to move to Norwich, with his family, which has to be a good thing.
6. I''d like to see a 3-5-2 with wing backs - hard job for these players though. GK - Ruddy CD- Bassong CD - Turner CD - R. Bennett RWB - E.Bennett LWB - Garrido DCM - Johnson CM - Howson ACM - Snodgrass/Wes CF- Holt CF - Vaughan
7. I''d like to see Rudd or Steer go to Pompey - they would play in front of decent sized crowds (they had 17k at the weekend) and see another side of the football industry.
8. I did think maybe Andrew Johnson!? Interestingly that site has him as a contender.
9. I saw this article the other day and thought it was a great view into a Premier League footballer''s life (although probably not a typical one). Would love to know who it is! Apologies if the link doesnt work. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/aug/10/secret-footballer-undercover-premier-league
10.

The fact he loaned him and didn''t sell him says something.
GP we been fighting this battle since 2009 season I think mate ? People still in the dark over Chris Martin etc etc. Right Martin, FACT. He got into a scuffle with Morro at a trendy club in Norwich. He then got carted out to Palace as Moro needed to settle. Debatable but Moro didnt settle Martin and Moro still on our books.... Lets see where we are at Crimbo lads ;)
This is not a FACT [:|]
I agree, this is not fact. I would like to know who told you this ''fact'' though just out of interest.
11. Norwich players are paid monthly and bonuses/appearance fees etc are totted up and paid 3 or 4 times a year. I''m not sure why but I think its something to do with when the club get TV money or similar.
12.
Face it if you want some national football glory, best bet is to marry a German or Spanish girl and take thier nationality ! I almost want to lay money down on England not winning a major trophy within my life time as I think its very possible.
A tough bet to collect the winnings from though isn''t it...
13. Yes Ron I have watched Spain but their game is more about possession. I think to compare the two styles isn''t realistic - can you see Norwich dominating possession against Man City, Man Utd, Spurs, Arseanl, Chelsea etc? I certainly can''t.   My point was that now we don''t have the element of surprise, teams will be more wary of our threat and not just think ''easy three points against Norwich today''.   York Canary - good points but two big if''s, I can tell you now Jackson won''t play every game this season and I agree on Vaughan - if he stays fit then he is an asset, so we will see on that one.   I''m not trying to be contraversial, but our habit of conceding in most of our games last season means we will need to score to get points.
14. Does anyone else think that there is a lot of pressure (maybe too much) on Holt and Morison to score goals again this season? The players CH has brought in so far are good players, don''t get me wrong, but I am struggling to see anyone else who will score 5+ goals this season. Our midfield certainly seems creative and maybe Pilkington, Howson and Snodgrass will chip in with a few goals each (if they all play regularly) but my worry is that after last season when Holt, and the whole team to an extent, surprised a lot of people, that this season we will get ''found out'' a bit more. I''m really looking forward to the season but think CH has a job on to keep everyone happy (in what looks to be a team which will need rotating for this to happen) and still keep the starting 11 consistent enough for performance levels (and goals) to be high enough. This is something that in my opinion our former manager done very well. Most people may say the obvious solution is buy a new ''goalscorer'' but they aren''t easy to find and I think keeping a settled team may be the way forward for us - I just think it may be a bit more of a challenge this season. Note: I am not saying we don''t need a quality squad - I understand that injuries/suspensions and form will dictate that sometimes changes have to be made, but at the moment picking 11 players from our squad to put in a team is a tough job for CH.
15. I posted about him on 23rd May when he was shown around Colney for the first time.   Lambert was still in charge then.   Ultimately though, Hughton knew he was a good player (having probably faced him in the CCC) and knew the deal would be worthwhile for NCFC. Good strong management from him in my opinion and he has obviously made an impression on Jacob by the way he has spoken since about their conversations which encouraged him to join,
16. Ok so my first post on 23rd May was a little wrong (he wasn''t our first summer signing) but it looks like we got our man! That day was the first day he was shown around Colney - when lambert was still in charge. I hate to brag but in true message board style - thanks to everyone who doubted my ''sources''.
17. Gareth, I understand it''s annoying and I know everyone with a rumour says ''I can''t say who told me'' etc. Ultimately I don''t know if this guy is signing or not, all I have heard is that he was at Colney yesterday and having a medical. I was also told that my mate also met Chris Hughton yesterday and found him very polite and they chatted for a while about last season. It seemed they were both very positive for next season. At the end of the day I am a fan/season ticket holder like many others on here. Re: my credibility (not that I am seeking acceptance - just backing up my earlier comments), ask CUSDP or Larry David - both know me and who I know.
18.

The guys on here who know who I am will back me up that I know a couple of players - so I don''t need to name a source. I''d be foolish to get him in trouble for rumour mongering (and chances are I''d never be told things like this again). And yes Jas, you could, but I think mine is more likely. Have fun on your message board boys, thats my 2 posts for the next 2 or 3 months done. Always nice to feel welcome.
Thanks for the info jeagle but was this sighting recent or pre Lambert''s departure? If the latter then could it be possible the move is no longer on the cards as he was a Lambert target?
First sighting when Lambert was still here but apprently in for a medical yesterday. I don''t want to bite too much but good one Gareth. Maybe one day you will get a real friend too...bless.

20. I think this is still on the cards - but Jacob has not made a final decision on where he wants to be next season. I heard this from a current player who said he did not see him personally but heard he was in the canteen after having a medical.
21. Could he be our first summer signing?
22.
I wasn''t wrong about Ryan Jarvis (now a Leyton Orient squad player!) a few years back who was meant to be the best thing since sliced bread, nor his brother. I remember when Spillane had a few games at CB and I was slated for saying he wouldn''t do anything in this position, wheres hes now - going for trials with Cambridge Utd!   Chris Martin has abiltiy yes, but he hasn''t the pace and strength to be good enough for where we are now and even a club in the Championship with serious promotion ambitions. Add to this a suspect atitude which causes lots and lots of uneccessary baggage and its understandable why Lamberts looking to move him out!   We''ll see in the next couple of years whos talking tosh!
Factually you are well off the mark. Jarvis is at Walsall and doing ok - took a year deal through his choice. Spillane is 90% going to Dagenham on loan, not Cambridge, he only trained with them for 2 days. Still...keep up the good work/rumours, these message boards need people like you!
23.
I''d be bricking it mate! Still love the opportunity though,so deep, deep envy here! It would be terror on a par with that you feel on the 1st tee of the golf course, just about to drive off before you see a foursome waiting by, all watching you play your shot! I''d keep it all really simple, get the ball, control, pass, and try not to do anything complicated-though the temptation to want to play a cross over for big Iwan to head in would be overwhelming! Enjoy!
I''ve never had the pleasure of seeing an orgy on a golf course. My little brother won a place on the training thing and he''s ok, not a patch on me mind you.
24. I took mine, purely as I didn''t agree with the manager who would be spending the money at the time. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but I too stand by my decision back then.
