1.
I mean the club obviously needs some help as Delias''s pocket money and Turner''s long term loan don''t. seem to be stretching very far.
How can you tell - it hasn''t been spent...... As for the Kitty - you need to ask?
 2.
I couldn''t help but notice in another thread someone asking what it would take. Interesting question. For me it would be takeover by an investor with absolutely no interest, connection or emotional buy-in to the club. Or to an amalgamation with ipswich and the new club being called ipswich. Seems I have an altogether higher threshold than some.
You''ve met Cullum then?Cancelled mine . Got fed up driving 300+ miles to watch Worthingtons football - (including promotion season). Grant was worse in spite of my early optimism and 60 minutes against Spurs was completely depressing though they do look likely to be top six this year (good job they werent fit and weren''t trying eh?)
 3. Wouldn''t be much of a defence but no, I haven''t heard of him as it happens. Ask Pete he should be able to give ISP origins and confirm if posters have multiple identities
 4.
Why is it out of order for me to suggest that very often poor results in buinesses and organisations tend to stem from the top? When something misfires consistentely (as we have since promotion) then you have to ask qeustions.
but the business aspect has been fantastic. You want Doncaster to put on a shirt and play?
 5.
Yes fair point about Hucks I also think we needed a signing to make a statment of our intent..
You think Bertand, Lupoli & Kennedy are not?
 6.
shax at left back???
Left out would be better. Wolverhampton would be better still
 7.
We do have a history of bidding for players and then the money never actually appearing.
Whoooaa.. When have we ever had a bid accepted and not found the money? Thats not a rep any business would wantNo I wont elaborate on the player who''s agreed to sign in January (though I can guarantee you''ll be pi55ed off)And I suggest you check the wage bill on the accounts next time around. they have not gone down
 8.
Where has all the money gone?
Seen the wage bill? There''s still enough for a good spree in January.... one names penned in already
 9.
for the money he gets....no problem :-)
And how much might that be ....... I think you might get a shock
 10.
You have a pretty good point there BunnyB - Drury was left exposed rather a lot by Hucks.  He is a decent player and one we could do with having back fully fit.
Yes I would fancy trying to look composed playing between Shackle and Huckerby thats for sure. Even allowing for that he was NEVER the player people thought he was..... Barry Fry''s hype seemed to tint opinions. However I''ll never forget he was in the right place at the right time v Boro  :)  What a game (or rather what a 10 minutes)
 11.
and cover for doc as he is now injured .......
Doc IS cover
 12.
Little Up Here?
Thats so witty ......genius Bly, really......my side are splitting ..... zzzzzz What are you 10?
 13.
Ooh personal insults in an unwitty way. Well done! Care to address the point, or are you just going to stick to the playground name calling?
Yes I''d also like to hear any of you justify selling off the catering. It, like the hotel is all profit that helps run the club.It amazes me that people who moan "where''s the money gone?" sit in our very fine ground watching a squad most of whom wouldn''t have considered coming to Norwich if it were not for the fantastic facilities ......and they cant work it out. 25000 tip up week in week out  - it aint for the footy so..........?Well done the board......Championship Manager has a lot to answer for.
 14.
Arthur hasn''t even posted on this thread you sad man.
You think?  :o)
 15.

And your alternative is?
Bring in a board with some balls.
You''ve not seen him Waz so how can you judge.I''d say signing him DID take balls. So did telling Brady where to go even when we needed taylorThis current board is fantastic. long may they stay
 16.
I''m in the South Stand, apparently, so I doubt there''ll be any singing...
there wasn''t against Spurs so I guess you''re right
 17. As it stands today the club doesn''t need to sell anyone. What makes you think we do? Gutted you were wrong? desperate to stir up another lie?Its true, the club may ''choose'' to sell Croft to Wigan, but it doesn''t have to.Go back to Ipswich Arthur..... cheer on Nugent.
 18.
Can''t really disagree with anything you say there Indy, except I''m not entirely sure Ashton was available at the start of our Prem season. Either way, personally I think we have little chance of mounting a serious promotion campaign this season, so to me it''s more important to make sure we finish at least mid table, and really have a solid squad together for next season.Whatever way you look at it, Ameobi is a relative unknown. Sure he was excellent for a bit in the Premiership, and without doubt has the ability to blitz the Championship, but whether he actually has the attitude to do so I''m not so sure about. Granted, Glen appears to be able to get the best out of him, but put it this way, he''s certainly not a player on the up in the same way Ashton was.Ameobi + another <=30 year old proven striker, however, is a totally different propsition, and I don''t think many fans would be complaining too much.
Spot on
 19.
Yes, I would be patient if nothing had been said about : - strikers being our number one priority - players to be signed before pre season training - a striker in 48hrs ..........I''m going to Coventry and I don''t want to see us play 4-5-1 due to a lack of strikers,  thank you!
4-5-1 gat played due to tactics alsoIt probably was the main priority to sign a striker or two.... but they are the hardest signings to make. Being a keyboard manager is easy, try working the hours Doncaster has since he got back in June16 hours a day, 7 days and 2000 miles a week - try it.
 20.
i have mentioned that to some of my mates that i think Ameobi might have had a chat with Roeder and agreed to sit tight to drive the price down, it''s just frustrating with a week to go, i want all my toys now.
Problem is Newcastle are very aware that our ''ghost'' bids for other players are merely to add pressure...to infer that we''ve moved on.... Trouble is £3m is nothing to them to defend their principles. I doubt they''ll come back with a lower last minute price.
 21.
if we had lupoli full time then maybe
The choice was loan or go away. The board did a great job on that one
 22. £3.5m - no thank you£2m (watch this space - but will have big sell on fee) yes pleaseHoward £1m no thanks£500k - would do a job for sure but he''s no Ameobi
 23.
who thinks we might be interested? e.g. a permamment transfer, but do we have the money? 1.5, more than we have i think.
We have enough. Too small and a difficult character by the sound of it...... not in Morrisons league but Bristol City didn''t like him and his crew so no way he''d fit here
 24.
Paul McVeighMatt L-JeanKevin Harper (loan during promo season)
Harper was good - just a nutterHughes (though probably the nicest bloke in football)WalshTracey
 25. Actually until Bertand got slaughtered I thought it was the best back four display for years
