1. The problems are higher up than just the management. That''s the worry going forward. You sack him, the board will want another yes man. The type of manager we want with passion and a back bone won''t be appointed by this board again.
2. Something we''ve never been good at, but today, just disastrous! Admittedly they were well equipped airily but I cannot understand why we did not try and mix things up. Whip some low balls across the box etc instead of Redmond and co chipping balls up in the air with no real conviction.
3. Football was woeful need I say no more. But the atmosphere in the concourse at half time was great! One of the best for a while. Shame the football was so drab that the fans had nothing to get behind to on the pitch.
4.
Thanks. Heard the bullying rumour. Wondered if JJ had a bit more info.
All i''ll say is that it seems very odd when a paper breaks a story about club members and controlled substances and all of a sudden he is under investigation!
5. Good coach but fear his career is over if the rumours were true!
6. Be shocked if no clause has been put in the contract for if things go tits up
7.
Looking on this board it looks as if quite a few fans are going to be negative about the appointment. I keep saying about what negativity can do to a club - yet some seem hell bent on that course again. When you have put yours toys back in the pram have a think about it and try and see the bigger picture. It is not about "little Norwich" - its about recognising strengths and weaknesses - and seeing that as with Hughton, the board are trying to get something started. Not just a Lennon who might come in to get experience before moving on to a bigger club. Not just Malkay - who many have said would have been not much better than Hughton.
I can''t back something I don''t agree with and to me personally what we needed now was that X,Y or Z to get us back to the premiership first time around. And so yes if they left for better things fair enough upon us getting promoted we''d be in the premier league. Under Adams if we don''t go up first time round it''s going to be a slow drawn process to get back up. An NCFC that time around if looking for another new manager, much less of a prospect than one now.
8.
What is the average age of contributors to this message board? My guess is 12. Judging by the way they hounded for an entire season and eventually assassinated the previous manager, thus succeeding in getting us relegated. They have now turned their attention to our newly appointed manager and are duty bound to give him a hard time through the summer and the entirety of next season so assuring that promotion will only be a dream. So grow up children or go and play somewhere else. Any true fan would support the manager and selected team or is that too much to expect?
What''s the first special pie going to be Delia?
9. A train set who''s lost its conductor by all accounts then!
10. This has the distinct smell of Mr. Gunn without the happy ending to it! A manager in theory given the same job as Adams to keep us up, failing to do so and being kept on as manager by an unambitious board. Here we have the same sort of situation of a man being kept on by an unambitious board. Last time Mr McNally came to save us and wielded his axe to appoint someone who he saw as a better fit for Norwich. So what has happened to our ruthless Chief Exec who was driven? Now seemingly like the fellow happy clappers on the board, lacking ambition and settling for second best, the easy way out so to speak. Once again we have been let down by the people upstairs in our club and I can only see it going the same way as Mr. Gunn, as like I said earlier there will be no Mcnally to save us this time around. What does this tell the players? Getting in a more experienced, better profiled manager may of persuaded your better players to stay at the club, but with this appointment it shows a clear lack of ambition as far as im concerned. I worry that Neil promises to play a lot more younger players next year from the academy, because I can''t see them being ready for the hustle and bussle of the championship. I know I shall be shot down for this in all honesty. But once again the board have failed to act.
11. Instead of adding another manager to the forum list just out of interest who do people think would do a good job for us in the current squad? It''s gone horribly wrong this year with Bassong and Martin and if anything one of the many reasons we struggled. The lack of a leader on the pitch and Mr. Media off the field haven''t worked. I''m just struggling to see a leader on the pitch at the moment, the influence Holty and people alike have had. Could it be someone needs to be brought in or someone steps up to the plate and where''s the badge with pride?
12. No, got the whiff of Gunn all over this, keep the fans on side etc just without the public media campaign to appoint Adams like Gunn had
13. The Fer comment is what gets me, he''s everything the championship isn''t. Need players who are hungry and passionate, want to do well. Too many times this season he was dopey at best. Snodders will be off up North and I wouldn''t be shocked if we had a lot to pay on Hooper still and Celtic took him back on the cheap. Realistically it will be a rebuild jobby next season, a mix of experience is needed whilst bringing through the youth. Target a couple of experienced guys who know what needs doing.
14. Much rather we got a proper solid DM and allowed Fer/Howson to push forward more. Really believe Howson would love that role.
15. Just out of interest was wondering the amount of people who''ve stopped going to away games since we got Hughton? I used to go at least 10x a year but now wouldn''t even think about it because of the 11 men behind the ball policy. The current managerial regime has now really ****** me off as we show no interest at home or away.
16. Woeful yet again. Defensively incompetent as a right back and it''s time he got dropped? Fine at CB but he cost us in them first two minutes. It might do him good to realise he isn''t always first choice.
17. Just heard back from them again, and although the seats were in line with the Green Guide conditions, the maintance team admitted that the seat was tight and would look to make small changes before the next game there. It made a nice change for a club to work so effectively in response to my original email! Unlike NCFC who im still yet to hear from.
18. I don''t post a lot as you can see but Saturday was a joke. Having been to loads of grounds and being 6ft + legroom is usually tight but I can at least sit in my seat unlike Saturday. Don''t get me wrong, if I''m asked to sit I will, but when you physically can''t get in and to be threatened to be chucked out took the... So I sent an email to Man U and to be fair they said they wanted my seat number to investigate. As it seems many have had the same issues I''d do the same, cause even the young lad next to me was struggling to sit comfy.
19. You''re lucky then! 3 of us were going up for a few days now this has messed it up a bit. Emailed both NCFC and Celtic however I only expect the normal "oh we''re so sorry response"
20. Easier to go with easyjet from Stansted at £55 return does involve staying the night though.
21. I have heard that Surman and Holt were the top two earners, Surman due to PL wage when we got him, Holt renewed deal last year. Now take it or leave it i have no reason to lie, I dont post often and bs like certain members cough BW.
22. Then i cant see the point keeping him here. Yes we all know what he''s done for the club is brilliant, but if he wants to go, which is looking more and more likely then lets get as much as we can from Burnley to go out and get someone who wants to be here Mackay or whomever. Furthermore whats to say a Premier League club isn''t knocking about now Burnley are interested, West Ham being one for example? He''s all to smug about it though, so he maybe staying for all i know.
23. If he doesn''t want to be here, then why are we keeping him? I''d rather have a guy who wanted to be here tbh. Yes he''s done well here and all that but if is hearts not in it, the performance wont be there. Get a few £££££ for him and get someone like Mackay in with the money we get.
24. My mates brothers sisters  friend who is a cleaner there, said a couple of men arrived earlier wearing Burnley suits, picked Lambert up who was at the time having his last Delia pie, before all of them departed swiftly in a rusty ford which had a sticker in the back saying, just hired! I guess thats it guys
