  1. ".....why do people start sentences with `but` and `and ''..." And did those feet in ancient timeWalk upon Englands mountains green:And was the holy Lamb of God,On Englands pleasant pastures seen! And did the Countenance Divine,Shine forth upon our clouded hills? And was Jerusalem builded here,Among these dark Satanic Mills? If it was good enough for William Blake , it should be good enough for you.Not forgetting one of the greatest works of English literature , the King James version of the bible published in 1611.And God said let there be light. And there was light. And some advice for you from the same source : “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; that ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.”

  4. You have to be careful with full time troll and wind up man Johnanna. You would think from the quote at the end of his post that Rob Grilly was against the World Service....but....it actually comes from an article he wrote entitled " Don''t kill off the BBC World Service – it still puts the Great in Great Britain ". Read it here : http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/robcrilly/100280638/dont-kill-off-the-bbc-world-service-it-still-puts-the-great-in-great-britain/. Another attempt to deceive scuppered.....still when you post under as many names as he does it''s no wonder he doesn''t know his anus from his elbow
  5. Pullis and Palace could find themselves in bother....if found guilty the match could be replayed and Cardiff might win this time , which would be bad news for Norwich.http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27062091
  6. My one contribution on the subject of old film of relatives in the desert. During the war my father was in the REME based mostly in Egypt and Libya. While there he was asked to join something called the long range desert group , which went onto become the SAS. He had two talents they wanted , he was an experienced parachutist and before the war he drove lorries and was an expert at fixing broken down trucks with whatever materials were at hand. And he is on film ! In the TV series Gladiators of War 2 he appears in the episode on the SAS. To be precise he appears at exactly 30 minutes and two seconds in. In the short colour section he is the man on the right of the group of three , holding what looks like a loud hailer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgSvD9ppQMQ
