1. Sorry to be thick, but what bit of the castle is the mound? I mean surely the players won''t be scrambling up the grassy banks that face castle meadow, lord mayor''s procession style? I assumed they meant the bit leading upto the castle museum entrance maybe?
2. But just who wants the toilet or a hot dog while the trophy is being presented? Poor argument. Don''t want a ban? Don''t go on the pitch. Seemples.
3. Lol. Look at the OP''s first post date....? Troll!!

6. Can someone tell me the gist of what was said? Link won''t work on my phone. Cheers
7. For me, the pair of prats sat behind me in the upper Barclay - every game they arrive 5 mins after kick off & head back to the bar at about 35 mins. The time spent watching the game is usually a torrent of abuse at Wes, for being lazy, Chris Martin the same or Doc for being rubbish! Oh, and they have recently taken to referring to chris/russell as DEAN Martin, 56 times a match! Everyone around us cheers when they stagger out of the stand on 80mins
8. I know that we don''t have much money, but with Newcastle & WBA getting promoted, doesn''t their parachute money get redistributed amongst the rest of the championship? Got to be worth a few extra quid?
9.
Boys, this is the day to amend the horror of the final game of last season, for those of you that were there you will understand what it meant to this club and the support that has followed you through the bad times. The faces of those supporters on that dreadful day should be etched in all your minds this afternoon! Keeps it tight, quick smart passing, ensuring that any pass meets its intended target! Keep the ball on the ground and we will create chances, create chances and put them away. Punish Charlton for very slip or mistake, do not give them a second on the ball, and close them down at every opportunity, I do not want to see us second to one ball this afternoon, a yellow shirt will be 1st there every time. Patience will pay off, so don’t panic, play our game and not there’s and we will succeed. The future is in your hands today , The Premiere promotion winning side were recognised as “Legends “ by the club and its supporters , each and every one of you has the chance to become a legend today and go down in the history books of this great club. This is our time boys, let’s finish the job and make the 3000 plus in the ground and the thousands more around the country proud today .
Keeping it to the final ''few'' words then, eh??? :P
10. It''s far too nice to be stuck indoors today, but I couldn''t get a ticket & didn''t fancy £10 beam back, so I will be glued to the pc/Jeff/Radio this arvo indoors instead!!
11.
Could try calling the ticket office?
Just gives pre-recorded flannel/info that doesnt go that far into the future. Thanks everyone!
12. Anyone know when the tickets for Millwall on Boxing day go on sale? OS is uesless and I need to get 2 extra tickets (home ones!!) as xmas presents
13. Is no-one else worried about their away record? four wins in five they''ve got already, we don''t usually win 4 away all season!
14. better re-phrased, i''m too shocked to type clearly! come on Pete - who?
15.
" I know Coppell didn''t last long at Man City, but thought he was there for a month at least?" Coppell walked away from Man City. He wasn''t sacked.
My mistake. So we hold the record then? Great.
16.
As already suggested even if the board met earlier in the week, the timing is really strange......... I agree with those who think that something happened in the last 1-2 days that caused the board to take the action they did. Why so late in the day before a crucial game???? Either some kind of bust up or maybe another manager has agreed to take over? The rumors of management bust ups have been flowing. Probably no smoke without fire. As I said last week I could understand if they sacked Gunn NOW, mainly because the transfer window is still open and a new manager can still wheel and deal a bit. Its easy to not look on Gunn''s reign as very positive. The board have totally stood by the fact they said it was a "results based business" McNally with his comments is showing he is 100% commited to winning promotion. I think they are actually looking at the big picture and not last weekends disaster........ It would hav been easy to sack him right after the game but obviously the allowed a cooling off period to decide. Not sure why the waited less than 24 hours before a crucial game. I have a sneaking feeling that after time has passed history will judge Gunn as manager somewhat better. He may even be given some praise for bringing in some quality players to the club for very little money. As for the new guy, I already suggested Coppell or Robbins might do a good job. I have a feeling somone is already lined up. I actually think that the club is very attractive to a new manager We have a board who look 100% commited to promotion. We look like we have a half decent squad with a bit of depth at most positions.
Based on what though? He only managed 6 wins, didn''t he?
17. I know, I was trying to be knid and only judge him with ''his'' players
18. There was no mention of anyone other than Gunn......??
19. Has any other manager ever been sacked after just 2 games? I know Coppell didn''t last long at Man City, but thought he was there for a month at least?
20. shocked by the timing of it, however I still think it''s the right decision. God knows what the players are thinking!?
