1. These embarrassing Deliarite sheep will eat any old crap put in front of them....then defend it to the hilt when it all goes tits up.  I''m only hoping that most of them are non-East Anglian folk because if they aren''t the dozy turnip image is true for all to see. Roeder quite frankly is an insult....and the club Board a bad joke. Ipswich now have the floor to themselves as the "pride of anglia" badge just moved south.....long term.....with Colchester in second place.
 2. Don''t sell your house up North Roeder.... Well done on the 2.5 year contract...as you won''t see it out.
 3.
When losing the arguement, resirect a Wizards old post, it never worked when the pro delia''s and sheep have tried it before...............and it sure as hell won''t now!. Ratty will still be here, we''re still bottom of the league but hey, we tried to make wiz look small.................again I''m truely flattered that THEY see me as such a threat to them!.  [:)]
Another "first post" from a gutless multiple user name........ When all is lost....find a distraction. Embarrassing at best....
 4. Apart from the usual apologists it''s clear that this is another awful decision by this awful Board. I can think of no-one more boring (except for Howard Wilkinson)....and it signals the end of this club until Smith finally walks away in disgrace. Good luck to those who bought the promise with their season ticket.....you were duped big time......
 5.
Bottom of the league with a weak team lacking confidence........so the board appoint a man with a poor track record and sacked by all the clubs he has managed. Ive nohing against Roeder but this appointment sums up what the board are about...cheap options! I cant believe in the situation we are in they are still prepared to gamble the future of this club and hope for the best. This board supports itself not the club, none of them have any loyality towards Norwich and its shows by the constant sitting on there hads hoping for the best. I really hope Roeder can do this and change our fortunes but i for one will never forgive this board for taking such a gamble at such an important time.
They''ve bottled it yet again....and here we see the sheep walking meekly into the pen to be fleeced once more. Maybe they are simply getting what they deserve....a limited club to suit their limited thinking. Pathetic.

 7.
Well the board have done it again, cheap option, all Percy''s out again back patting the muppets backs again, all is now right at NCFC. What happened to all these top class applicants scrambling for the job, if Roeder was the top one, i would hate to see the others. I am angry and gutted and will not set foot in carrow road again till Smith and her cronies have gone. In saying that from the outside i hope Roeder can save us and he proves to be a great manager as on the surface he seems a nice enough bloke and i dont want to see the club i have supported man and boy in div 1. I say to all get behind the new guy but keep the pressure on the board, they need to be gone asap, they are strangling the life out of OUR club.
Yep ricky.....the demise if NCFC continues. Looks like a scrambled survival is the sole target of the club going forward having made this lame appointment....... It''ll be like sitting in the dentists chair from here on in......
 8.
SACK ROEDER NOW!.
Easily fooled...easily pleased....easily led. Yet another grey man in the classic "yes man" mode like all the rest Smith has introduced. Thank God I dumped my season ticket when I did. About as inspirational as a wet flannel.
 9.

I make no apology for bringing in a reality check to another ludicrously over emotional matter. Fair enough if others disagree...but such over reaction speaks volumes. Firstly...with so much  money slushing around in the game these days....is it not obscene that joe ordinary is asked to put his hand into his pocket yet again?  This is a matter for the Professional Footballers Association...not fans of a club where he stayed for a relatively short time before moving on to Southampton....the club he stated on BBC''s South Today last Friday as the place which "had the best fans".  Take a look at the PFA who rake in millions from a game Davies helped make so popular...and you will see £10 million spent on a Lowry painting alone...plus many tens of thousands on other football memorabilia to "pretty up" their offices and their Football Museum. The point is...football should look after their own and half an hours pay from any major Premiership player would get him what he needs, and some. He also chose to turn his back on the country and make a new life abroad....whereas if he had stayed here it would have been done for free. You can''t have your cake and eat it in life I''m afraid. So...knee jerks to this opinion just shows how far out of touch some people are....and how they allow their emotional attachments to cloud their logic. If you''ve got a few quid...there''s an old nurse I know who gave a whole career to tending the sick on next to no pay and finds herself unable to walk or get out of her tiny flat....but then she didn''t score goals or draw cartoons like Davies did she? Say what you like.... charity begins at home and there are many more needy cases here than RD in the US I''m afraid.
Now Cluck you are such a lovely ,,,Well you know how i feel about you with out me going on about how sweet you are . Now i am intrigued by this old nurse of yours who was paid next to nothing , surely she has a case to take to the N H S administration for unfair pay .I can''t see you putting up with this injustice for one minute Cluck so please keep us up to date how you are getting on with it and if i can help in any way i would be more than pleased . Thank goodness she never turned her back on this country ,as she can get all her treatment free . well done Cluck .arrdee.
Well arrdee...she doesn''t want for much...and would be too proud to seek handouts or charity anyway. I can''t make her health any better...but I can make certain she has regular company and ensure that her shopping is delivered to her door.  No big deal I know...but whilst our society becomes ever more selfish and insular there''s at least one elderly person who''s existence is valued.  I''m always amazed that by simply changing a light bulb or putting the bin out it gives her so much pleasure!          [:)]
 10.   Miss Macdougal whined...... "Just when I thought it couldn''t get any worse being a City fan, now I find that I''m utterly ashamed to be associated with some of my ''fellow'' fans - what a load of mindless, xenophobic drivel".     Fear not Missy Mac...no-one associates you with other City fans....... It seems that straight talking and strong opinion still survives in this artificial fantasy world of candy floss and political correctness.....Truly heartwarming. And Baldyboy....I''m chuffed to share cyberspace with you mate. Did my bit in Viet Nam via Oz many years ago...so I''ve got some idea of what you lads are going through. Popular war or not.... you''re a star!    [B][B] [Y]
 11.
According to the Daily Express Delia may be a contestant on I''m a Celebrity get me out of here.  With Paris Hilton. If its true its one way of getting away from City and their woes.  Delia should be using her football knowledge to get us out of the position, she has been doing just that and look where we are.
It would be a change to see bo**ocks going in her mouth instead of coming out of it...........
 12.

Surprise, surprise: two of the posters who don''t want to help Ron Davies are also two of the posters who continually write the most hyperbolic, hysterical trash. Yes, many many people all over the world are just as deserving of help; yes, today''s footballers and especially the ridiculous PFA should certainly be doing more: a lot more. But the poverty of spirit both have displayed towards one of our own entirely sums them up. Was Davies playing at a time when footballers earned a decent wage? No: none of them did. So much so that George Cohen, World Cup hero and as dignified a gentleman as you could ever wish to meet, had to auction off all his medals a few years back! The way all footballers of Ron''s generation have suffered in the years following their retirement is a disgrace, as is the attitude displayed towards him by said two posters. Tell me Cluck: what''s it like to have nothing good to say about anybody, be devoid of generosity or compassion, and to quite plainly be full of hate for anything and everything?
Over emotional claptrap as usual....and the same sort of misplaced loyalty that has kept Smith on her throne for so long. What next I wonder....a hair transplant collection for Bobby Charlton? Firstly George Cohen did not HAVE to sell his medal...it was sold while the market for such memorabilia was on a high and has subsidised a pension many of us would give our right hands for. Add to that the fact that he has run a successful business since retiring and made plenty of money on the old "World Cup Winners" treadmill and after dinner speeches. Hurst sold his...Ball sold his etc....because it made them a tidy sum...and to quote "poverty" is laughable. They are wealthy men and the average footballer in the 1960''s earnt a very good wage compared to the average man on the street. If we fail to save for that "rainy day" we must expect to get wet. As for the "poor old footballers"? What about "poor old miners"...."poor old fishermen"...."poor old agricultural workers" etc etc. I guess their fault was not having scored a few goals and enjoyed fame and fortune during their working lives to avoid real poverty.....Their claim is every bit as valid as a retired footballer...infact much more so. As for being "devoid of compassion".....I find this truly laughable. I help those who really need it..not those who have had their chance and wasted it. If I told you how much I have directed towards those less well off than me over the past 20 years you would be less vocal...but then I don''t do it for recognition nor to keep my conscience clear...I do it because those people deserved recognition....including the elderly nurse I mentioned who gave her care and love to help others over many years. The ridiculous knee jerk reaction to a valid point made sums up the mentality of so many people today...and how a little bit of fame and celebrity seemingly over-rides the genuine need of the ordinary.
Blah blah blah. More tripe as per usual. Excellent post Neil Cluckcaster....you''re the best!     [Y]
Glad you agree with me Smellas....and certainly no offence taken Shack.... It''s ONLY an opinion folks....and I''m not for one minute suggesting sanctions should be imposed against him! Deary deary me....
 13. Ever regretted such a post before Celia?...........       [:)]
 14.
What a miserable post to make at this time. Whilst life is by no means great, this post and the first response to it really show why anyone who takes over will have no peace on here. However, not to worry, it will not be too long before miserable git Wizard changes to happy Wizard for at least a short while................why??..............cos that is just the way he behaves...................just blows like a fart in the wind........................ Even if it were Roeder, he would need our respect and backing.........................not slagged off by a miserable bunch of faithless individuals.
Very well informed for a first post.... What a farce this forum is sometimes....and how laughable some of it''s inhabitants.......
 15. The players we''ve got now aren''t up to the necessary standard of League One....so lose them we must. It''ll take scrappers to get us out of it....and we are seriously short of them these days.
 16.
new blood is needed from top to bottom of this club. I welcome it in what any form it comes...... If delia and co goes .............. so be it...........
Let''s hope they are using live ammunition.....
 17. How about "Arthur Whittle''s Weekly Column"..... Straight and to the point like Arthur himself.   [Y]

 19. Another "Mr. Personality" if it''s true. Dull as dull can be...and another "yes man" in the traditional Delia Smith style of management. Whoopi doo....... [N]
 20.
Well said double R, I''ll second that!.
Spot on...and I''ll third it........
 21. Hucks is about the only thing that isn''t rotten about the club at the minute......How odd that he should be singled out when so much else is glaringly wrong.
 22.
Sorry - we have major server problems here and I''m unable to moderate messages. I may manage a few, but basically the page freezes every time I go into it... I''m not even sure if this will get through ... Celia
While I have the opportunity........ BOSOMS!
 23.
She would be leaving us in our lowest league position for nigh on 50 years. She would leave us facing relegation to the old Div 3 for only the second time since we moved to FCR. She would leave us Managerless. She would leave us with one corner of the ground effectively hockedoff (well for 147 more years anyway). She would leave us £20,000,000 (and the rest I suspect) in debt. She would leave the once magnificent fanbase divided and bickering with each other. She would leave us with a squad worth just a quarter of that which she inherited. She will have been responsible for the two worst extended periods of football I''ve witnessed us play in over 40 years (Three worst if you throw in Worthys swansong period but Hamilton and Grant  does it for me). She would be leaving  with most if not all of her Investment possibly even a small profit.   Am I wrong? Some legacy...
No....you''re not wrong at all......Sadly it pretty much sums up where the "saviour" has led us...and it''s certainly not the promised land. Well done Delia...well done.
 24.

Cue the "give him time" calls and the "let him build his own squad" pleas heralding another wasted year before we end up back at square one. Time for a clear out from top to bottom.  Nothing else will do.
Totally agree Cluck. It doesnt matter who comes and manages our club now,the fact is the damage is done. I''ve said it before, you cannot polish a turd. Total change is needed.
Nope...you''re certainly right on that one Arthur!...... Must just pop off and wash my hands.........     [+o(]
 25.
Now, (in hindsight) why couldn''t we have done it their way?
Watford don''t have a Delia Smith to contend with do they?.....so credibility for them was never an issue for them...... Mind you....I suppose we could try switching to yellow shirts and see how it works out.........
