Conversely, you''ve never scored a hatful of goals or made a transfer profit for your club[:D]
Maybe to aid my personal attempt to ''grow up'' you could expand on your logic of loyalty. I would be interested to see how you percieve yourself as loyal. 3. Was obviiously a tongue-in-cheek comment to lighten the mood during an interview so please can nobody jump on it as a point of certainty.
 4. I add this as evidence number 1: source - pink un website   Roed cull all down to Glenn MICHAEL BAILEY Norwich City chief executive Neil Doncaster today confirmed the club are fully behind Glenn Roeder''s Carrow Road revolution by backing his restructuring plans. And Doncaster was quick to deny the recent exodus of backroom staff at the club was instigated by a need to cut costs, as City search for a way to turn round three seasons of stuttering form on the pitch. It has been a hot topic among fans whether the considerable list of backroom exits has been a symptom of financial pressures at the Canaries, with assistant physio Peter Shaw, academy physio Rod Dyer, academy education and welfare officer Darren Bloodworth and under-14 coach Neil Adams all leaving the club, as well as kit-man Terry Postle. And despite the club labelling as inaccurate reports chief scout Alan Wood and sports scientist Dave Carolan were also heading for the exit door, Wood left last Friday and Carolan''s future is expected to follow the same way. The Norwich chief, said: “The situation is that the restructuring is entirely to do with Glenn''s desire to restructure his backroom team at Colney. “While the club remains totally focused on achieving cost savings where they can - because any money saved goes directly to the manager''s budget - the recent changes are not cost originated.” The latest staff member to leave is physio Neal Reynolds, who has clinched a job as assistant to Gary Lewin at Arsenal, while Bryan Gunn has been handed his newest title - head of player recruitment - and one new body has arrived in the shape of Tommy Wright as City''s new goalkeeping coach. However, it took five months to fill that vacancy and the Canaries will need to work much quicker if they are to be ready for the return of City''s players for pre-season in early July. Roeder is currently down the bare bones as far as senior professionals go and is continuing to wait on a decision from out of contract centre-back Gary Doherty. Nine professionals were released at the end of last season and City''s squad for next season will also see them without the retired Dion Dublin and the handful of loan players who performed well for Roeder during the second half of the season, including Chelsea''s Ryan Bertrand and Manchester City''s Ched Evans. Roeder has said he will be dipping into the loan market once again next season, but only after he has tied up his permanent targets. “I will remind Neil and the directors of the last thing they said to me at my second interview. That ''if you keep us up Glenn, you can have as much money as you want in the summer'',” said Roeder at a fans'' forum during Norwich''s open day earlier this month. The transfer budget available to Roeder remains another talking point among fans, as the City boss looks to start bringing in new blood. First team coach Paul Stephenson has already confirmed the City management have identified and been in touch with some of their summer targets, but these discussions are yet to bare fruit.
 5.

I so pity all you egocentric doom dwellers. From what I see the board have in general backed both Worthington and Grant recently and are now doing the same with Roeder. They are allowing him to make decisions on behalf of the club which they then rubber stamp. I have no inside info but am certain that finances whilst not spilling over, are stable. I like to read this forum at times to hear what people think of whats happening and what may happen but some of you really are clueless. You moan at whatever decisions are made. Decisions are made based on facts and at present the views of Roeder - little of which we know of at present.
Yes Robert decisions are based on fact and here''s one-We''ve gone downhill ever since the prudence with ambition decision of our board during the Prem season and since and worthy and Grant were backed with only a small amount of money the club was receiving in player sales promotion winnings and parachute payments plus sell out attendances, hence my decision to continue to make my views about the board known. Not really clueless is it? In fact if you take your blinkers off for a view seconds i think you''ll find its the opposite.May i also add there is not one shred of evidence to suggest the board are backing Glenn,i''d say it could be the complete opposite at the minute but time will tell. Unfortunately history has a habit of repeating itself at CR.
So I notice you didn''t challenge the ''egocentric'' part! Just kidding, in fact I''d like to apologise for the rudeness of my post and admit it was written upon emotion rather than with a clear mind. I would challenge the view of past mangers having only small amounts of money, but maybe it is all relative and my bank balance suggests the money we have spent in recent years to be considerable. I also admitted that we do not yet have evidence that they are backing GR (other than agreeing to terminate many staffing contracts which we can only presume - dangerously - that it was his wish) but that in my view they have not done anything to disprove this either. Maybe we are both too hasty to state our views and can discuss again in 6 weeks.
 6. Ok, ok, ok. I get what your saying. What I''m saying is that rumours will persist no matter our desire for them to do so. In addition our human frailties will not allow us to simply ignore or disregard them all, particularly if we like them. As such it would be good to kn0ow which sources are better than others.

 8.
Worst - This message board Best - The Club
I''d like to hope that the club website doesn''t discuss rumours and is more likely to give facts.

Would love to see him back. He scores goals (lots of them) and goals win you games of football.
Ah   Don''t forget it''s all been budgeted for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111
Sorry Nasty but maybe I''ve missed something - whats been budgeted for?
If Derby still owe us then Doomnasty will have accounted for that revenue. It''s not like its "new" money. If we got Earnie back by using what they owe us then I think Roeders cash buget would be adjusted accordingly. If that makes sense.[8-)]
Sort of - but then again i did fail my economics GCSE so not much point in too much detail. Thanks though.
 10. With the rumour mill in constant motion at present I was hoping people could help decide on the most reliable sites/papers/etc.. This is in terms of accuracy of rumours for NCFC. It would be good to be able to come up with a gneral opinion of who are the most reliable sources for us all to trust - and equally who are the worst.

 12. Aaaaaarrrrrgggggghhhhhhh.  Stop, stop, stop, stop. I cant cope with any more rumours.   Sorry - no offense meant - just frustration getting the better of me.
 13.

I do hope its true. Does this mean, if true, that we have had the bid accepted and that we have agreed personal terms? Or is this done the other way round?
So far as I know you put the bid in and then have to agree personal terms with the player.  The bid gives you the right to do that (in a release situation) but then the personal terms are negotiated with the Agent/Player and it is for those two to sort out which to accept.  It gives you the right to talk but it doesn''t mean the player is yours (unless said terms are acceptable to Agent/Player).
PS:   "He''d love to play for you.  He respects you as a Manager and if it was down to me it would be a done deal cos I respect you as well.  But you have to understand our situation: yes, it''s a good deal but I''ve got XXXXX (club) on my back saying okay we''ll top that by £2k.  Honest, I''m being straight with you Glenn (insert name of any other current Club Manager):  I want the lad to do well but, hand on heart, I can''t tell him to do your deal unless you are going to get closer to theirs can I? Can''t you shift a bit?.  It''s sad to me because I think he would be great for you............." These, or similar conversations, are going on all over the country................
Hey, Im looking for a new agent, you sound good. Ill offer you 10%.
 14. What a goal! Think you''re spot on Duffman. Congratulations Ched.
 15. Does indeed sound interesting. Where is the article?

 18. I also have seen very little other than play off final but from all accounts there are far too many people who question his mentality to take a £1.5m gamble on him.
 19. Delia for kitman  (or kitperson?) - that should save us a fiver a week.
 20. This should be a really interesting test of our ability to draw in players that are being chased by many other similar clubs. If weve made it public we want them it will be a shame to lose out.
 21. There is certainly the potential for things to go belly up if our recruitment doesnt go as the club seems to expect. Equally there is  the potential for the club to sign up all the right people with a winning mentality to lead us to relative success in coming years. I guess the truth is that your view on things at present depends on your outlook in general as we all have very few facts to go on. Some people will try to predicy whats going to happen but reality is that we dont know. For my part, I cant recalll anything like as big an overhaul as this ever happening, it excites me and until I have facts to go on I''d rather live with hope (even if ends with dissapointment), than grumble in frustration. We just dont know what will happen so lets keep the faith, keep excited, and keep realistic. Remember the reason we are now making so many changes is due to being at one of the lowest points in history. Under Chase we seemed to undergoe transition of players when we were actually doing pretty well by all accounts.
 22. Last nights game was actually the first time this season that I really enjoyed watching a game involving the 4 biggest teams. I started off from a fully neutral position and was able to admire the skills, determination and abilities of those on show. I admit to frustration with mainly Drogba for his unsporting behaviour but on the whole think it is extremely unfair to criticise any of the players for unsporting play.  The pace of the game considering the stakes was incredible. Just imagine the human emotions at play: Scholes sheer joy at competing at the highest club level for the first time, Lampard and Wes Brown both have experienced a parents bereavement this year and will have been affected, Giggs playing more times for one of the biggest teams in the world, Ashley Cole trying to answer all the critics who love to slate him, Ronaldo trying to be the best in the world (a pressure he admits to putting on himself), all the English players trying to prove their worth before a summer off, Cech having had an apparent life changing injury during the year and still hailed as the worlds best keeper, Ferdinand and Terry fighting for the rights of England captain and exerting all they can in the name of leadership.... I cant say that I admire all the players all the time but the match last night really did seem to rise above the daily dirge of money and diving that we love to read in hypocritical media. Its easy to pour scorn on those that we elevate to great hights but I for one felt that the occasion was about people last night. On far too few occasions is that the case so lets jst go easy for once. Yes the game is following society down a cul-de-sac all chasing the gold bullion at the end. But not last night to those people playing a game they love.   I dont expect to have full, if any agreement but just hope to offer my thoughts, and maybe, just maybe allow one or two of you to sit back at home or work and smile at the memory of the game we were lucky to witness.
 23. I guess this could be why Roeder was putting lots of effort into keeping tracks on his injury at the end of the season. I recall reading somewhere that we even tried to get him to return for the last match.
 24. Really dont care how many foreigners play here. What I would like to see if all our players who dont play regularly for thier club teams looking to play abroad to really see how good they are. All the hype over how good the Prem League is makes me laugh, people will believe anything if its on SKY. The only reason we have no one playing abroad is theres more money in english reserves than other leagues. Calling foreigners mercenaries cracks me up, the English players are more overrated and overpaid than anyone.
 25. Was lucky enough to be there on the night and really surprised and how poor the back 5 were. Some players are so overated and they just believe all the hype in themselves. Would love to see how well they would get on abroad, except they wont go as they wont get paid as much, twats.
