  1. You're convinced Brexit is also a success. So what you're essentially saying is that I'm as far removed from a left-handed mung bean as it's possible to be. You're essentially calling me a right-handed genius. Not far from the truth, to be honest with you.
  2. We've had Ukraine, Covid, blob, civil service, cherry-picked links and Rejoiniac! My Right-Wing R3tard bingo card is almost fully stamped.
  3. Soooo close to sounding like you actually believe that too. A little more work and you might start to convince yourself that's true.
  4. 340 in a day? That'd be a low run rate for Bazball! I'm hoping for all out for 420 with the Aussies already down to 15 for 3. Fifth days might be very quiet this series. Dare to dream.
  5. Garbage. I'm pro Scotland staying in the UK, but even I acknowledge they'd be fine in the long run. They've a bigger population than Ireland. They invented the telephone. They produce the single greatest luxury product on the planet (scotch). They'd probably rejoin the EU before long. They'd experience short term economic pain, but would end up fine on their own.
  6. They'll know if Essex's great-great-grandchild was able to inherit the season ticket then.
  7. Yeah, but Scotland voted to stay part of this Tory-voting cluster**** of a nation!!!
  8. Pretty obvious Brexit was going to **** us too, but the nation still went for it.
  9. Two survival seasons, which were also our second and third highest positions in the pyramid in 30 years. The finances were not in as rude health, but the squad had more than enough valuable assets to in it to help us out of that hole. We were in League One when he took over, and whilst we were staring at relegation, were in the EPL when he left. If you weren't so stupid, you'd realise it isn't even close.
  10. The evidence suggests otherwise.
  11. In my defence, it is only made up ones that I claim are made up.
  12. Ultimately, his report card will be graded lower than McNally's, whose record Webber was ironically only too pleased to criticise.
  13. I don't mind Naga, but Nihal makes me want to punch things. Him, mainly.
  14. I start every season hoping it'll be better than the last one. In reality, Webber only matched those hopes twice in six attempts. Admittedly, both times he did we won a trophy.
  15. Completely agree about post 11am Radio 5. Adrian Chiles is poor but my god, Nihal Arthanayake is unbearable. I like Ellis and John on Friday afternoons though.
  16. If you mean we wouldn't be sitting here having enjoyed two Championship titles, then yes, you're absolutely right. If you mean we wouldn't be sitting here as a mid-table Championship side, then you're almost certainly wrong. Webber is a brilliant self-publicist and isn't averse to twisting truths. He'd make a great politician. Before he set foot in the door plans were afoot and submitted for improvements at Colney. Whilst we had an unsustainable wage bill, Webber walked into a squad chock full of valuable player assets and bright young things. Look at what we had; Pritchard, Jacob Murphy, Josh Murphy, Ben Godfrey had already had his debut, as had James Maddison. Talent that would bring the club in £80 million that Webber had zero to do with the recruitment of (and he had the temerity to constantly belittle the previous regime). Max Aarons and Jamal Lewis were also still in the building (or Portakabins). The fact is, Colney would have been developed without Webber. Those players would have fetched serious sums of cash without Webber. That cash would have been reinvested in the squad without Webber. Whether it would have been invested in such a manner that it would have bought us the success we had under Farke is extremely unlikely. Whether it would have been invested in such a manner that would find us lower than 13th in the Championship at the end of the 2022/23 is as equally unlikely.
  17. Thank you very much. Is the void above the quote a representation of what's between your ears?
  18. Don't let ANYONE tarnish his legacy. It's taken him six years of his life* to take us from 8th in the Championship to.... ...13th in the Championship. *90% of it
  19. Paul Rudd?! Ant Man?! That's way better than Deadpool, where is our Netflix series?
  20. To hazard a guess, hmmmm, maybe, mid-table Championship? Also, imagine where we'll be if he stayed.
  21. They've outsourced so much to the Webber's that they even let Stu write his own leaving statement on their behalf.
  22. Really? Most non-Norwich football fans I speak to can't believe Webber is still in his post after the second Premier League debacle and his patent failure in appointing Smith and, as things stand, failure in appointing Wagner. Look at Leeds, it's bizarre that he's being linked with them given the fact that his equivalent there was essentially forced out (yes, I know it was "mutual consent", but please) and he actually achieved survival in the EPL. Twice. And I don't think anyone is expecting a new SD and new owners to suddenly establish us in the Premier League. I do think they're expecting that it will make us better than 13th in the Championship and ensure we don't have to sit through another 450 minutes plus of football at Carrow Road without seeing us score a single ****ing goal.
  23. To be honest, I'm trying to convince myself as much as anything else. He's played for the s(um so is permanently tainted in my eyes. Took me a while to take to Jordan Rhodes so I could learn to love him. However, playing truant from Scotland duty doesn't make me think any less of him.
